It's time for some archeological topics.
Today I will take you to the Mishkova Niva area. It is located near Malko Tarnovo on the border with Turkey. There is a Thracian sanctuary on the territory of the area, part of a complex archeological complex which includes several other archeological sites, including two domed tombs, a fortress, a fortified Roman villa and ancient mines.
I want to apologize in advance for the quality of the photo, but the drone was flying in a terrible fog. I tried to process them, but the end result is certainly not satisfactory.
The area is located deep in the forest of Strandzha Mountain. It is surrounded by centuries-old oaks, many of which are protected by law.
In recent years, the place has gained popularity and become a tourist destination. Historical records say that victims of Zeus and Apollo were brought to the sanctuary. Many of the moss-covered stones were sprinkled with blood centuries ago.
The sanctuary is believed to have functioned between the two centuries BC. to the VI century

The mound necropolis for the center of the so-called "Big Mound". In the southern part of the Great Mound rises a monumental building with an outer diameter of 25 m and a height of 1.80 m, built of 3 rows of blocks of white local marble.
In the southern part of the circle there is an entrance to a domed tomb, consisting of a covered dromos and a round domed chamber. The entrance was crowned with a pediment, decorated with a shield, a spear and two open palms.
At the west wall of the dromos was found a rectangular room, which was built of crushed granite stones, with materials and techniques that are different from that of the tomb.
An internal stone circle is built of the same crushed granite stones, which surrounds large granite slabs - the remains of a ruined dolmen. Marble altars of Apollo Aularios, an inscription dedicated to Heracles and votive tablets with images of the Thracian horseman, kept in the museum of the town of Malko Tarnovo, were found from the site.
Mishkova Niva is one of the places in Strandzha that unites history, culture and nature in one. You can give yourself a walk in the woods with a visit to a place from which you will surely learn many interesting things about ancient times.
Nice work, it's really great learning about history of places I haven't been able to visit
Kudos and keep up the good job
