Postcards from Margarita Island 🏝️

I had been wanting to take out my camera and shoot some postcard pictures of the island of margarita, this is exactly what I wanted to achieve in the photos and I'm glad I did it. Today I share them with you, hoping you enjoy them and that each photograph speaks for itself, because that's what photography is all about, to see it and just by looking at it, it tells you a story or makes you smile or transports you to that place or simply takes several seconds of your life to appreciate it in such a way that you keep it for yourself. And that's what I wanted to achieve with these shots I took yesterday. The photographs are part of what Margarita Island is, a restful stay, a beach life, a relaxing moment with you, a connection between what nature is, the beauty that life gives us and that sometimes is unnoticed by mankind. I put all my energy and my knowledge in each photo and is something that every day I try to look for what I've been trying to achieve for years, but I'm sure that I will not give me the years to learn 100%, as we are constantly learning and in this community I see such incredible works that are above one, which are truly admirable and thanks to you, who are teachers, is that one is always looking for perfection and that detailed touch that we refine over time.
I often think of nature and birds, as something beautiful that transmits peace in my life and recharges me with energy; I listen to the waves of the sea and I can breathe deeply while admiring its beauty, its smell and its melody; we are so fortunate of what we have at our reach, that we don't realize it because we are not charged for seeing, but if they gave the highest value to the nature that surrounds us, to the water and its beautiful species, I know that the story would be different.
I could think that the photos I take today, in the future, will be something that existed and we would be able to see, through photography, how beautiful it was and in the past we could preserve it better, love it and take care of it. I do not take this moment to give a speech about what we should do for the planet, but it is logical that what I show in the photographs, is a part of the love that still remains in the world towards the nature that we enjoy today.

Tenía tiempo queriendo sacar mi cámara y disparar algunas fotos postales de la isla de margarita, esto es exactamente lo que quería lograr en las fotos y me alegro haberlo conseguido. Hoy las comparto con ustedes, esperando que las disfruten y que cada fotografía hable por sí sola, porque de eso se trata la fotografía, de verla y que con solo mirarla te cuente una historia o te haga sonreír o te transporte a ese lugar o simplemente te quite varios segundos de tu vida para apreciarla de tal manera que la guardas para ti. Y eso es lo que quería lograr con estas tomas que realicé el día de ayer. Las fotografías son parte de lo que es la Isla de Margarita, una estadía de descanso, una vida playera, un momento relax contigo, una conexión entre lo que es la naturaleza, lo bello que nos regala la vida y que a veces es desapercibido ante la humanidad. Coloco toda mi energía y mi conocimiento en cada foto y es algo que día a día trato de buscar lo que llevo años tratando de lograr, pero que estoy segura de que no me darán los años para aprender al 100%, ya que estamos en constante aprendizaje y en esta comunidad veo trabajos tan increíbles que están por encima de uno, que son realmente admirables y gracias a ustedes, que son maestros, es que uno siempre está buscando la perfección y ese toque detallista que afinamos con el tiempo.
A menudo pienso en la naturaleza y las aves, como algo hermoso que me trasmite paz en mi vida y me recarga de energía; escucho las olas del mar y puedo respirar profundamente mientras admiro su belleza, su olor y su melodía; somos tan afortunados de lo que tenemos a nuestro alcance, que no nos damos cuenta porque no nos cobran por ver, pero si le dieran el valor más alto a la naturaleza que nos rodea, al agua y sus hermosas especies, sé que la historia fuese diferente.
Podría pensar que las fotos que realizo hoy, en un futuro, será algo que existía y lograríamos ver, a través de la fotografía, lo bello que era y en un pasado pudimos conservarla mejor, amarla y cuidarla. No aprovecho este momento para dar un discurso sobre lo que deberíamos hacer por el planeta, pero es lógico que lo que muestro en las fotografías, es una parte del amor que aún queda en el mundo hacia la naturaleza que hoy por hoy disfrutamos.
