Carrying - black and white street photography series.

Yesterday night i jumped to the Bluesky social networking bandwagon. I missed the day (or year) when it was organized and separated from X (Twitter), but finally like it happened to the Steam and Hive, same happened to X and Bluesky. Each of them found it's preferred way of the continuation.
I found that all the photographers familiar to me, moved or trying this additional, replacing platform with less politics, ADs, and Elon's dictatorship.
My special love there is the film photography community, which is very strong and supporting.

Here is my profile, if you mind to come there as i did last night :-)))

Now about the series of the images, i'm publishing today. I "call" this action CARRYING - everything else you will imagine by yourself and complete the story you saw. All these i photographed in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. All these below were taken during the street walks. I love people watching process, especially when i equipped with one of my cameras - film or digital.

Nice series! I like the idea of the theme!
I never really used X for sharing my photos, so I don't think I'll use Bluesky either.
Is there a lot of interactions on your photos?

Have you checked out PeakD Snaps on already? That's a Web3 microblogging alternative.

yes, surprisingly great activity even with the comments.
i hope it will continue this way
i tried Snaps of course. but found myself wasting my time on looking on the masses of smartphone's snaps, but the real snaps... and the voting was too low so i stopped.
trying to reactivate my prints selling gallery on FAA

I see what you mean. I reduced the number of distracting apps on my phone recently as well.
Snaps has just started and indeed the votes are still a bit low, but I find it a nice way of easily sharing a single photo with some context.
And the interactions are nice. And trending snaps also get an extra commentrewarder upvote sometimes.

I wonder if you get any sales with such a printed art gallery. It looks to me that these are loaded with amazing shots. How do you make yours stand out (not doubting on the quality of your photos by the way!)?

Is it via the social media platforms that you promote them?

Many years ago i started with the online sales of my prints on the only created than Redbubble site. Then it was kinda social networking site with the ability to share and to print. I had very nice incoming during a few first years. And then, they added t-shirts, cups, mouse pads, and Covid masks, ties, pillows, blankets and other shit, lot of different home things, not really wannabe for me to be printed on. So i always choose to sell only the Wall Prints and posters, so i was lost in the tons of paintings and digital stuff.
Fine Art America today is the Redbubble then - forum, discussions, groups by themes, challenges, feature images lists and all this bring the possibility to be visible. And ofcourse - the social media like FB, Twitter or Bluesky as well for promoting.
Many years ago i sold prints on FAA, now trying to return back with uploads and soft-promoting - i don't like aggressive sales, so i'm not a good salesman :-))))
And thank you for the kind words !!!

Thanks for the clarification.
It's a cool when you think your photos may hang in someone's house.
Can I ask you what you ask for a print?
I don't think I have a lot of photos that wil qualify for selling.

sure i sold many by the direct sales and from the on demand online printing services

if you will click on every image in my posts about, it will take you exactly to the online printing page just to see how it looks. its possible to put the different markups for every size and the finishing

I don't know this platform. Interesting feed, yours.👏

As for the images, a real sniper on the loose through the streets of Tel Aviv.

The last image is powerful. Imagine that you are going to put the TV in the trash. But that's just my imagination 😃

thank you very much !
Bluesky is just another X !!!
actually he is carrying it to his home for sure. nobody is going for the trash can to another street or block :-))))))

A little bit here and there and we enjoyed the process... I didn't know that social network, nor the story. Thanks for sharing. 🙌
I really liked the first photo. Somehow we all hope to fill our bags a bit.

i love to photograph people carrying goodies or a trash :-)
seems like i will continue this series
thank you very much for stopping by

It's always exciting to see the streets from your perspective @victorbz friend... Applause!

thank you very much my friend.
hope its interesting for you to see the streets from another part of the words as i always enjoy to see the original life in your photos !!!

Of course I enjoy a lot to see pictures of streets of other places my friend!... And I enjoy it even more when they are taken by someone like you, who “prints” his particular character in each photo!.... Thanks for that!

!PIZZA

thank you, brother!

I like the different perspectives you used to capture the people: from the side, from above, from below, from the back, from the front. You caught the traffic, the essence of the street: coming and going. I liked them. Regards

thank you very much ! it's my regular manner to watch the street and to investigate the going on when i'm in action and when i without camera in my hand. i love to observe people's behavior :-)
