The kids of Ethiopia - and a cute comparison.

Hi all. Fist of all, a huge thanks to all you, who tried to help, or helped with the "fight", well i'm as usual a little bit exaggerating :-)), with the thieves, published the stolen stuff in the Analog (FILM) Photog community. Finally , armed with "mutes", "downvotes", reports to hivewatchers and in the newly created by @friendlymoose room for reports in the Discord channel - https://discord.com/invite/dMep2wsKjc,
we win the "battle" with the unbelievable score 1:100. :-)))

Now about the image for my today post. I continue my narrative about the trip to Ethiopia. And this photography came to my mind -
the "staged" group portrait of the kids from some village from the Southern area of the country. It wasn't Soroka or Danshesha village, but it was some located between these. These kids tirelessly followed us a few kilometers, all the way to the filmed location and way back to our car. In some moment of our walk i decided that it can be nice to take a group portrait of them.

Now, when i look on the emotions and the expressions of the kids, who were never able to calm down, i found that it's much more interesting than to have a frozen moment of the frozen, looking on the camera kids.

And, when I looked at this photo more closely, i found very interesting similarity with another group portrait of kids, i took in some Bedouin village in the Southern area of my country. Or it's just my imagination?

Now let's take a closer look at the first portrait.

The patient guy who tried to help me with managing of the situation :-))

And the protagonists :

The sisters and the hand.

Different expressions.

Curious about what is going, but not in frame.

The most serious from the all company guy.

Together we stand strong!

It funny to see so many different expressions. Nice group photo!

thank you my friend
so pity that i have only one image of this funny scene. :-))))

How can a photo make you smile and at the same time squeeze your soul? I see your images and it comes down to the size of the innocence that children have. I smile at their smiles, but I also reflect on their serious faces. I like this exercise of showing a photograph in every detail. Oh, by the way, I didn't know about what you talked about at the beginning. I'm going to look it up and see what it's all about. Greetings, Victor

agree with you - non stop emotions and expressions all together funny and serious
thank you very much Nancy 🖤🖤🖤

It's incredible how a single picture can tell so many different stories. And I love the comparison to the Bedouin kids portrait. it's impressive how similar emotions can transcend cultures

kids are kids whatever they do and wherever they live :-)
thank you for taking a look !

Awww... Gosh... These photos touched my soul... It made me remember my late father who once told me something like: "In the eyes of children lies the secret of how good we old people can become"... Thanks for this post my friend!...
