These portraits of the standing alone trees i photographed two days ago, during my trip to the mountain forests. This area experienced a terrible fire several years ago. Then, during a year, i weekly visited there and photographed the huge natural cemetery of the charred remains of what was called a forest. This mount, especially, now is bold, almost empty of trees, but full of the started lush vegetation.
But some of the trees are still here, standing in proud solitude, they remind about the dense forest, which was in this place.
I put these full of character trees to the center of my frames. They desired to be photographed for these dedicated portraits of the BIG FIRE survivors.
