Hello guys.
I live in Istanbul, Turkey. I have been in Istanbul since I was two years old. My family and my job are in Istanbul. Istanbul is not the capital of Turkey. But Istanbul is Turkey's most populous and developed city. Being crowded makes this city difficult. Things you can do comfortably in any city in the world are very difficult to do in such crowded cities. For this reason, people are sullen and insensitive.
In order to overcome the tiredness and mediocrity of daily life, it is necessary to go to green areas. It is very difficult to find such green areas in cities like Istanbul, where gray color is dominant and where concrete is considered a skill. Even if you find it, it gets crowded there.
What I want to tell you is that if you do not have a piece of land of your own, your job is very difficult.
This little man is my son. He loves parks, green spaces and bird sounds. We go to the parks close to our house when I get off work every other day so that my little boy will be happy.
On weekends, we go to my father-in-law's land in Çatalca. Actually, this is where I want to talk about in the article. We have fruit trees in this little land. When the first spring season comes, the fruit trees bloom. Colors vary according to the type of fruit tree.
Birds, bees, butterflies and many other species inhabit these trees. In the first spring, nature comes to life and is born again. We rest our mind and body in such places. The sounds of nature are very good for human health. Breathing the oxygen-rich air in our lungs makes us alive.
If we, even middle-aged people, feel good in such places, how can our children with uncontaminated bodies and souls not feel better in such places?
That's why we go to this land as soon as we get the chance and spend time here.
There are not only fruit trees here. We also grow other kinds of plants on the ground. Beets, strawberries, beans, sesame, grapes, roses and more. And the onion you see in the photo. The onions in the photo will give us onions all summer long. Farming is really nice. You get involved with the soil, you gain financially, and you protect your health because you eat original vegetables.
We forgot agriculture. We plunged into urbanization, concrete and technology, and forgot about agriculture, the land. But I think we will necessarily return to agriculture again. The world is not going well and governments are forgetting people because of their greed.
Thank you for reading.
Happy harvest time
Peace
