Great! I live by a walking distance to the Liberdade Japanese district but here it's considered downtown. Now the Brazilians with Japanese ancestry in Sao Paulo were spread in neighbourhoods like Saúde and Jabaquara. Many Okinawans live in neighbourhoods like Vila Carrão and Casa Verde. Recently Liberdade had became an Asian neighbourhood with many Korean, Taiwanese, Thai and Chinese shops and restaurants owners, maybe almost surpassing the Japanese ones.
Yep, I noted the other Asian nationalities there :)
