@daveks made a post that makes me miss my boat! I built this skin on frame kayak and hand carved the oar from a cedar 2x4.
The boat was later destroyed in a snow storm, but I managed to get some good images and a lot of fun paddling. I really want to build another one.

I see that you have top notch photography here but you are still at the phase that rewards are so small that might discourage you. I know because I've been there and I remember the feeling.
If you don't mind a piece of advice from an older fellow hiver, maybe you should try writing longer posts, with more pictures, telling us a part of the story behind the photographs.

It is possible to be transported through the screen to that place and feel it... with a little imagination, of course. 😄 But I agree with fotostef's comment, and excuse me for intruding on someone else's conversation.
