Been observing some flowers in the backyard and it was quite fascinating how this particulat flower that could easily have your attention to. The fully open one in the center seems like being protected by the other five.
Due to a high temperature since the past days, flowers were easily get withered this days. What you see in the photo is not actually fully grown. They used to grow up to 6 inches diameter but they don't now. As soon as they open, they won't last a day but dry up and die. That is how hot our weather this days!
So, before they wither that fast, I had the best chance to photograph them at their early bud stage.
