Well, they may be a way of denying the inevitable, but they sure make for some good art! I'm glad you got to visit such an amazing place. How wild that a cemetery like this can seem more vibrant than a museum.
I don't want to be left in a high maintenance grave either. But cremation seems like a waste or a perfectly good body, and a whole lot of fuel too. It turns out leaving your body to science doesn't do anything noble; it's likely to be used for ballistics testing or car impact studies.
What I'd really like is to be chopped up and used for lobster bait in the bay here. I kind of like the idea of rich people and tourists eating me second-hand with lots of butter. But I haven't been able to find a funeral home willing to distribute body parts to fishermen. I guess we can't always get the last thing we want...
