SYCHEM ADVANCED WATER TECHNOLOGIES

Hello my fellow Hivian,
Today I decide to share what kept me busy for a week now.

I work as an operator in water treatment plant. The plant was installed by SYCHEM ADVANCED WATER TECHNOLOGIES

I will like to share us the pictures of how our storage tanks look like.
We have 4 storage tanks in the plant, 3 tanks are underground tanks while we have one stainless tanks.

The first main underground tank is called Raw Water Tank, water coming directly from boreholes goes straight down to the tank. There is a blower installed inside the tank, to continually blowing of water in side the tank, to avoid any settled particles.
There is dosing point of Hypo-Chloride dosing continuously inside the tank to kill micro organism.
The tank dimension is breadth is 4m, height is 5m and length is 10m.
Second tank is Filtered Water Tank, tank that stored water that has pass through Sand Filters and Carbon Filters pictures below respectively

The filtered tank capacity is 10,000Lits per each.
The water coming out of filtered tank goes into Reversed Osmosis Membrane

Capacity for the membrane are 26-30m³/hr each, if we are running the two membranes our production flowmeter will be 54-60m³/hr and it runs for 24hours, the water volume will be 1,300m³ of processed water sent to process tank.

Above is the picture of when we are cleaning the tank and repairing of damaged submissive pumps inside the tank.

The above image is the picture of faulty submissive pump inside the processed tank, is been hooked down there that it can't be remove from the top of the tank unless the tank is empty and someone go down there to remove it.

Here is the remaining underground tank. The tank is meant for boiler feed water.

The above image is taken during shutdown period. The tank was cleaned after seven years of installation.

The below pictures is the only tank standing on ground, it is a stainless tank to avoid rust contamination of the water. The tank is called Potable Water tank The water inside is drinking water that has pass through set of test e.g Ultra Violent Lambs that kill germs inside water.
