El Junquito is a town known for its cold weather, this varies according to the months of the year but regularly is a cool climate, has several attractions such as horseback riding, food, desserts and drinks of all kinds, walking through its parks and viewpoints, and the fog that never fails also from here you can reach the colony Tovar and La Guaira.
This day when we arrived to the town we took a walk through the different food stalls, there they gave us to taste the popular fried pig, without leaving behind the delicious strawberries with cream, previously they were accompanied by Chantilly cream but now they add different flavors that you can enjoy, they also accompany them with different syrups, my favorite is the one of parchita.
After the hike we climbed about 3 km and parked at a stop where you can enjoy horseback riding and a spectacular view, the weather after a while became rainy.
We had planned to have a barbecue but we had to wait for the downpour to stop for about an hour, meanwhile we waited inside the cars.
After a while the sun came out and the grill was mounted, luckily @liznorma199 brought the charcoal because we had thought to use the firewood that is always available on the road, by the way in this walk I took the opportunity to tell her about Hive and encouraged her to enter and know all the good things about this platform.
The children were so distracted by the horses that they did not want to eat anything they were offered, these moments are unique and unforgettable, it is wonderful to give moments of joy and relaxation to our children.
After sunset we decided to go down before it got dark because the fog was very dense and the road becomes dangerous because of the difficulty to see.
Thank God we had a different and joyful day as a family.
