Rising Star - Following the Money...

in Rising Star Game5 months ago

I've been playing Rising Star on and off for a while but with the arrival of the Stardust store, Daily achievements and Avatars I thought I would look a little more closely at the in game tokens and points that are earned and spent playing the game.

Starbits

You start the game on your "home town" island and as you play the standard missions you build experience and progress through the levels, each mission has a Starbit reward which varies based on length of mission and a little luck, you can also earn Starbits by staking on records, this is not something i have done but you can find out more about staking on records here . As you progress higher in the game and build your fan base and skill you earn larger rewards but at the cost of an increasing ego which you will need to keep in check. Starbits can then be spent on cards to help increase your key attributes - Fans, Luck, Skill and IM (more details on the stats are in the FAQ), As a Music Promoter where you bid to promote missions and earn a share of Starpro rewards based on the amount of missions that are run whilst you are the highest bidder and as contributions towards rewards pools in the Raves section of the game, which helps you earn Stardust in through daily achievements.

Starpro

Earning Starpro is something that comes later in the game (well it does for me anyway 😀 ) and is done in the Music Promoter game as described above or in more detail in this Music Promoter tutorial video. Starpro is required a number of missions which require different amounts of Starpro to run - Music Lessons, Promote Fan Club and Festival World Tour which all have different benefits like increasing attribute or providing cards. Starpro can also be spent on cards like "Runners" who help you complete missions or "Fix It" that allow you to blend cards for the Rising Star Pro part of the game.

Stardust

The latest addition to Rising Star is the Stardust shop, points are earned through daily achievements and can be spent on a number of things like Promoter points (something I haven't used yet as I don't have a Pro band and have not released any records) and avatar clothing although the store is being added to every day and it looks like we can all soon own a pet tiger!!.

In summary:

Hopefully I have got all the information correct but let me know if I have misunderstood something in the comments, see you around the game and don't forget to join the Red Rave!

Great post friend, what a great job you have done in summarizing the usefulness of each token in the game as well as their cards.

Excellent work. Best regards.

Very concise summary of all our tokens!
