If you "Distribute Single" but don't submit it and you don't like the position predicted can you continue to add more promotion missions or level up your band members more? In other words, at one point are you stuck with what you've already done?

Yes, you can try to have a better score doing more promotion, adding more members to the band, etc etc
All of them will be waiting in "Manage Singles"
OK Thanks. That stops once I've distributed the single though doesn't it? Or can I keep adding to them even after I've dsitributed the single?
Yes, go to "Manage Singles" and you should see your non released to charts ones, like this
so if you click on release single you will see the score you will have on the charts, but only when you click on Submit to Charts it is all done
