My 29th day in Rising Star is over.
I have reached level 37 now and played my first gig in the Shopping Mall today. 🎺🤡🤓
With 761 Starbits, this gig was quite well paid by my standards and I'm looking forward to playing here more often.
I've been looking forward to this mission for a few days, because I think it may be suitable for testing the feasibility of some of my ideas about a possible future game strategy for Rising Star, which I may explain in more detail elsewhere.
Much of this will depend on the question of which missions are hardcapped for the number of the same missions you are allowed to play in a day. You've probably already noticed this hardcap, haven't you?
I encountered it for the first time with the Radio Interview mission and I was very surprised that my fans get bored when I play the same mission too many times and I earn less Starbits because of that.
But anyway.
It doesn't really matter in the end if there is this restriction or not, because I can just keep diversifying the mission combinations and avoid being punished by my fans.
I'm mainly interested in how long a mission takes, what the median income of the mission is, and how many drunk fans I can generate with what probability with it. If a mission runs to my satisfaction, I add it to my list of interesting missions, from which I derive possible mission combinations for a game day at the given time.
Of course, I am aware that I am still at the very beginning of my journey and there will still be a lot to discover.
But even at this stage of my development as an aspiring musician who wants to become a global mega star, I'm already thinking about the next steps on the path that will lead me to an audience of millions.
So much for that topic. I'll come back to it at some point.
Let us move on to my todays Achievements:
Today I was able to successfully complete 22 missions:
1x Saturday Headline, 1x Radio Interview, 1x Shopping Mall, 14x Basic Singing Lesson and 5x Drum Fair.
I have earned a total of 1384 Starbits, 6947 Skill Points and 1949 XP. I also found 2x Coffee Cup, 0x(!) Discarded Pizza and 1x Four Leaf Clover during my gigs.
The Drum Fairs brought me 2x SilverCymbals, 1x DrumBody2, 1x DrumBody3 and 1x GoldStands.
So far I have 11383 Total Fans (all from cards), 14880 Total Luck, 62266 Total Skill (7176 from cards, 55090 from lessons) and 274 Total IM (Income Modifier).
I also opened a card pack today:
The rare card R54 Ellie is a good find: A good fans:skill ratio, 3 IM (Income Modifier) and a really appealing card design make this card a valuable part of my card collection. The combination of the common cards i3 Buster and 23 Jonny is also balanced in total and makes me very happy.
And actually I wanted to stop already today to deal with the Player Rankings:
But since by a lucky coincidence I was able to make one of the rare crafted instruments today, namely the RSTAR D3113 (only the third issue of this card), and successfully traded it for a stack of highly interesting instrument cards that will further support me in the Music Lessons, I accidentally moved up to 49th place in the Player Rankings today and am now among the Top50 players for the first time.
I'll mark that on my calendar! ❌👌💪
