My 41st day as an aspiring musician in Rising Star has come to an end.

Have you ever wondered how the Luck Points on the Crafted Instrument cards are calculated?

I did yesterday and found an answer.

It took a while and involved some work, but I was successful in the end.

The Luck Points on the Crafted Instrument cards are, with the exception of the 3 all parts golden cards (RSTAR D1111, RSTAR G1111, RSTAR P1111), for which there is an additional kind of all parts golden bonus of 50 Luck Points, the sum of the Luck Points determined by the respective instrument parts.

An example:

The Crafted Instrument card RSTAR D3333:

has 12 Luck Points and consists of the instrument parts

• drumbody3
• chromestands
• chromerims
• chromecymbals.

In this case, each of the four instrument parts would be assigned a Luck Points value of 3 Luck Points and the sum of these four values is 12 Luck Points in total.

I will not describe here the way that led me to the solution, but limit myself to the results in tabular form to keep this post in a reasonable length and thus somewhat readable.

This means that I only publish the value tables here.

The first column lists the instrument cards of a category (in this case Drums) by name, the next four columns the instrument parts needed for the respective Crafted Instrument card, column 6 shows the card Luck Points depicted on the respective Crafted Instrument card, columns 7-10 the Luck Points value of the respective instrument part, and the last column what I call the "all parts golden" bonus, which is only awarded for the three Crafted Instrument cards that consist exclusively of golden instrument parts (D1111, G1111, P1111):

As you can see the cards total Luck Points of the Crafted Instrument cards almost exclusively depend on the rare instrument parts, for which I have not yet collected significant statistical data on their probability distribution, so I still cannot say whether and why it is worthwhile to produce certain Crafted Instrument cards.

But anyway.

I found something interesting in Rising Star to play around with while waiting for missions to be completed, and there are actually results that I may be able to reuse at another time.
