In my last post, I told I needed to take a decision regarding where I'm heading to, and after some consideration, I'm going to take the Starbits Millionaire route. It means there is a million (almost literally) of Starbits to hoard, so there's too much missions to complete. Luckily there are some other ways to get Starbits, and I'll be talking today of pools.
But, first of all, I managed to complete 1000 missions, which entitles me for a free pack... here's what I got.

En mi último post hablé de que necesitaba tomar una decisión sobre dónde encaminar mis próximos pasos, y, tras algunas consideraciones, he elegido ir directamente a por la carta "Starbits millionaire". Esto quiere decir que necesito acumular (literalmente) un millón de Starbits. Por suerte, hay otras formas de conseguir Starbits además de realizar misiones constantemente, y hoy os voy a hablar de una de ellas, los pools.
Pero antes que nada, he conseguido pasar las 1000 misiones, lo que me regala un pack gratis... esto es lo que me ha tocado en él.

What is a pool? / ¿Qué es un pool?
Well, let's talk about pools. A pool is a liquidity deposit comprised of 2 tokens. The liquidity providers inject the same value of each token and they usually receive a reward for having that liquidity available for traders. In that pool, a trader can swap a token for other. AFAIK, there is only a Starbits pool in Hive (with PIZZA), which is the picture you can see.
In this pool I own 43.25 PIZZA and 15625 Starbits, this brings me daily the rewards shown in the right (which includes 118 Starbits) that go straight to my wallet. My liquidity changes constantly depending what token the traders get and what they leave in the pool, but the relation between them is always the same. I'm leaving here a video which explains perfectly what pools are, how they work, and what risks you are taking (because there's some risk), so before using them, please, do understand how they work and don't take this as an investment recommendation. Bien, hablemos de pools. Un pool es un depósito de liquidez compuesto por un par de tokens. Esa liquidez la aportan los proveedores, inyectando el mismo valor en cada uno de los tokens y, a cambio, reciben (o no) unas recompensas. Ese depósito sirve luego para cambiar un token por otro. Actualmente, en la red Hive sólo hay (que yo sepa) un par que acepte Starbits (con PIZZA), que es el ejemplo que os he puesto arriba.
En este pool yo contribuyo con 43.25 PIZZA y 15625 Starbits y, a cambio, recibo diariamente las recompensas de la derecha (entre las que hay 118 Starbits), que van directas a mi wallet. Mi liquidez cambia constantemente dependiendo de qué token se lleva la gente en cada operación, pero la relación entre ambas es la misma. Os dejo un enlace con un vídeo donde se explica muy bien qué son, cómo funcionan y qué riesgos tienen (que los tienen), así que antes de utilizarlos, por favor, entiende cómo funciona y no tomes esto como un consejo de inversión, haz tu propia investigación.

So, I'll probably retire Starbits from the game each 2-3 days, increasing my pool (that would be around 10000 Starbits, that have to be split between Pizza and Starbits). So far, I have around 40000 Starbits split between all my resources, so it's a very long way to go. However, I'm thinking on buying specific cards that help with Production lessons in order to have my Ego controlled at any cost. I'm not thinking on buying more packs now, and I'd only do it in 12-packs for 10000 Starbits. Depending of my speed of generating Starbits, I could buy some packs but not before a month or so.

A partir de esto, lo más probable es que cada 2-3 días vaya retirando fondos del juego y vaya aumentando mi pool (eso serían unos 10000 Starbits, que habría que dividir entre Pizza y Starbits). Ahora mismo tengo, distribuidos entre todos los sitios, unos 40000 Starbits, así que me queda un larguísimo camino. Por otra parte, tengo pensado ir comprando cartas sueltas, especialmente útiles para las lecciones de Producción, hay que controlar el Ego como sea. De momento, no me planteo comprar más packs... y sólo lo haría en packs de 12 por 100000 Starbits. Según la velocidad que vaya cogiendo con las ganancias del token, igual me planteo comprar dentro de un mes o así.

Congrats on the achievement! free packs/cards always a beautiful sight, i went the same path you did and a while back started saving up my starbits, ended up with around 200k after 1-2 months then just bought the remaining 800k seemed like a really good investment to me!
Thanks for your words !! That's more or less the idea in my mind, buying some amount to complete the million. I'll be checking the market buying some eventual dips, and let's see when I reach the million...
