Friends, yesterday those who read my last post will know that I brought you a story, and well as usual today Sunday is the day of letter recommendation. So that is exactly what we are going to see in this post. But in addition to that I also include my well-known section of my opinions on a song. In this section I am going to talk to you about a very interesting song that has a theme that is worth analyzing a lot, and of course in addition to that it has a great rhythm, so I can assure you that you will like it. Friends, so we start first with the song as usual. You know, before telling you what it is about, I'll tell you that the song is not as well known as the last ones we've seen here. It's not that it's a forgotten song, but it's more reserved in numbers, at least that's how I've seen it with some analysis I've done. The song in question is Supergirl by the singer Anna Naklab. Have you heard it yet? Well, maybe you've heard it at some point. It's a very nice song, I even find it somewhat relaxing, I don't know if you feel the same way. It goes at a slow pace and not as fast as others, so in a way it's relaxing to listen to it.
In this case, the song is not performed only by Anna Naklab, it's a cover in collaboration with the singer Alle Farben and the group YouNotUs. I've been reading a little about this topic and I'll tell you that in reality the lyrics of the song are not written by any of the 3 groups. They are by someone else, so you should keep in mind that this version is a cover. That said, this version is from 2015, so it's already past its prime, so to speak, but many people still listen to it because it's so beautiful, and well, I'm an example of this, and today even you will listen to it too, if you want to, of course.
In my personal case, I didn't hear the song in 2015. It was quite a while later. And it wasn't even because I was looking for it, I found it by pure chance on YouTube like other times. I remember that I saw it in a video called The Best of Kontor or something like that. There they make a kind of recommendations/compilations of the best songs from that show. And well, it was in one of those compilations that I heard it. I remember that there was only a small fragment of the song, it wasn't even complete. It was after that that I looked for it myself. But as I told you about that quite a few years ago. By the way, what I said about Kontor are basically lists of songs that were the top at the time.
That is, "the best of Kontor 2017", and so on. Several of those compilations are still on YouTube so if you want to know new songs those videos are a good way to do it. I do it very often. Now the important thing and why some of you are here, do you want to know what the song is about? If you answered yes, well I'll tell you and if not, well you have to keep reading anyway. 😅 Basically Supergirl is a song that I would say is light, it talks about a girl who is strong, the name itself was already giving you a clue, besides being strong that girl in the song, she is very sure of herself, and she does well everything she tries to do. And in addition to this, she also tells us that we should be strong like her in everything we are going to do.
For me, there is a part of the song that I like the most. It is the part where she in a certain way tries to tell us to do everything possible to try to recognize that we all have an inner strength. What happens is that many times because of the things in life we let ourselves get carried away by the things in life and we forget it. And it is as if we did not put fuel in a car, without that it will not move. So she in her symbolic role of super girl tells us to remember it. It's a nice message, I know it may sound a bit cliché, but as I always say, we always take it for granted and that's why we often fail.
This message of the song is one of the reasons why I like this song so much, I think it's very good for the times we live in today.
