In this case I have dedicated it to the R189 Roman letter. This letter has always seemed interesting to me because it has a very realistic art. The story I have made about the letter is based on that as well, I have tried to be realistic as well and of course, as almost always, it is humorous. Friends Roman has always hidden a very personal secret. He has a double life, but no, it's not what you rascals think.😅 It's about something more serious in his life. You see, he is extremely shy. So it's hard for him to relate to others and he never attends meetings where he has to interact with other people. He even avoids social visits from his family, with the exception of his parents and his brother. That's one part of his double life, and now you might be wondering, what is the other life? Was it double? Well, yes, the other double life is that he works as a radio host. And this is where the contradiction in his life is.
While he stands out very well in his work and is one of the best at what he does outside the recording studio, he is just someone shy who doesn't like to see anyone. So it's contradictory that he leads a double life like that. At work, his friends and colleagues don't know that he is so shy. In fact, they consider him a very charismatic person who is not afraid of anything.
They think that about him because they see him excel at what he does, he gives life to the radio program he works for. His bosses think highly of him because he is one of their best announcers. So no one has to think that he is a very shy person. I tell you that his lack of shyness at work has an explanation. In the recording studio he is alone with the microphone, there is no one watching him so that gives him security. In addition, he feels a kind of strength when he sings or acts on the microphone, because it gives him more security in his life.
But you know, there is something interesting that you don't know, he has a twin brother named Diego. Unlike Roman, he is the complete opposite in terms of shyness. He is a very open-minded person and likes to talk to everyone. He also likes to make a lot of jokes and joke around with others. In that sense, he was the opposite of Roman. They got along very well, they were practically inseparable. Since they were little, they had been very close and they helped each other in whatever they could.
In Diego's case, he worked as an activities manager at his company. It's something like the person who is in charge of organizing parties or leisure events for employees or clients. It's like the person who organizes the entertainers for an activity, hence the name of his position. You could hire him to organize a wedding or a birthday for your son. The truth is that he is a very talented person for this and he does very well at what he does, just like Roman in his recording studio. Even though the two of them lived two different lives, they understood each other well. That's why it's not surprising what happened later in his life. You'll see.
It turns out that Roman was due to visit the studio in a few days by a heavyweight from the radio station who was going to see how things were going. They were planning to interview him so he could tell them what he liked most about his job. In addition, he sold many young people from a nearby university so he could give them some advice about his job. As you know, he's very shy, so he almost wanted to drop dead when he found out he was going to have to go through all this. Especially because it's not the same to be alone behind a microphone than to be in front of an audience with a boss of bosses watching. So he just couldn't handle the pressure.
They informed him of this visit a week in advance, and do you know what happened to him? Well, he got nervous. During that week he could barely eat a bite and he was not doing as well as usual at work. In addition to this, he did not call Diego on the phone as he usually did every night. And as you can imagine, Diego, who is not one to lose his temper, immediately realized that something strange was happening with his brother. That is why he told him that he was going to visit him at home in a few days.
The next night Diego knocked on the door and when Roman looked at it, the first thing he saw was that his brother was bringing him a cake as a gift. And that was a good step to start the conversation because he loved cakes. And of course Diego knew it, that was the easiest way for his brother to tell him what was going on. After they ate the cake between the two of them, because obviously Roman was not going to be able to eat it all because it was too big, he spilled what was wrong.
He explained that he had an important meeting in a few days and that he didn't have the courage to face it, it was too much for him. Diego tried to convince him that it wasn't as bad as he imagined, but he still couldn't change his mind to go. In addition, there was the possibility that he would be sanctioned at work for not attending an official visit from his boss. So seeing that everything was lost at that moment Diego had a very good idea to help his brother. He told him that he happened to have that day of the meeting free and that if Roman wanted he could go to the meeting in his place, no one would notice the difference, they were both exactly the same.
As expected, at first Roman didn't want to know anything about that absurd idea, but the more he thought about it, the better the idea seemed to him, because in the end it would be the easiest solution to not having to go through that situation. So as you can imagine, he ended up accepting. Diego told him that he told him to write down on a piece of paper the most important thing he wanted to say in case they asked him some questions and that's exactly what he did. After that he went home. They would have liked to have seen Roman after his brother left. He was jumping for joy because he didn't have to go through that anymore, it was very funny to see. Even while he was running around the house happily he stubbed his little toe and that was the end of his happiness that night.😅
And nothing happened on the day of the meeting and as they had agreed Diego went in place of Roman, everything was going according to plan. Diego had no problem answering any question they asked him, because he was used to talking to everyone. While all this was going on Roman received a call from Diego's boss, he told him that he was trying to locate his brother for an emergency meeting in which he would have to organize a wedding. Roman knew that Diego couldn't at that moment because he was at the meeting, so he gathered his courage and said that his brother would be there right away. In reality, he was the one who was going to go.
He thought to himself that if his brother was doing that for him, he should also do something to return the favor. He went with a big knot in his stomach because he didn't know what he was going to find at the party. When he arrived, what he really had to do was encourage and guide the attendees. His world wanted to fall apart. But for once in his life he said that this couldn't continue like this. He simply closed his eyes and let himself go on the microphone as he did in the studio. When he came to see the occasion, it was a complete success and Diego's boss, who had believed everything, congratulated him for his good work.
At the same time, at the meeting that Roman was supposed to attend, he gave it perfectly and also took the credit from the bosses. Each one met again at Roman's house, they didn't know how to start to tell each other about the experience they had lived. After all, it was very funny, so they told each other everything. Diego congratulated his brother for his bravery and for having helped him. They celebrated that night with a new cake. But now, thanks to Diego's help, Roman would no longer have a double life, he had lost his shyness.
