Controlling your Ego - Tips from a Raising Star to a New Raising Star
Ego is something thar a rising star cannot avoid, after all, playing on stage with groups of fans screaming your name and celebrating every song makes you feel like you're on top of the world.
However, we must be very careful because if our ego gets out of control it could become a disaster and ruin our career even before it started, there are many stories of great musicians who saw their careers destroyed by believing they were bigger than God.
That is why it is very important that from time to time, we stop, take a deep breath and give ourselves a reality check.
In my case, when I realize that my ego has gone too far, I have always found that practicing my guitar helps me relax and put my feet back on the ground.
And of course if that doesn't work I always have the option of going to see John. He is a good friend and a great artist, in fact he is one of the best musicians I know, to the point that every time I hear him play the guitar it seems that I learn something new and that it is better that I start practicing and working hard if one day I want to be a rock star as big as him.
As a last resort you can always lock your fans inside a warehouse, although I don't really recommend it as they can get a little upset, especially if you forget about them and leave them locked in there for a week while you go to the Singapore festival.
So in short: practice, listen to the greats of the genre and don't forget your fans!

Controlando tu Ego - Consejos de una Estrella en Ascenso a otra Estrella en Ascenso
El ego es algo inevitable para una estrella en ascenso, después de todo tocar arriba de un escenario con grupos de fanáticos gritando tu nombre y celebrando cada canción, te hace sentir como si estuvieras en la cima del mundo.
Sin embargo, hay que tener mucho cuidado porque si nuestro ego se sale de control podría convertirse en un desastre y arruinar nuestra carrera incluso antes de empezar, hay muchas historias de grandes músicos que vieron sus carreras perjudicadas por creerse más grandes que Dios.
Por eso es muy importante que de vez en cuando, paremos, respiremos profundo y seamos realistas sobre nuestra situación
En mi caso cuando me doy cuenta que mi ego ha ido muy lejos siempre he encontrado que practicar con mi guitarra me ayuda a relajarme y a poner de vuelta los pies sobre la tierra.
Y por supuesto si eso no funciona siempre me queda la opción de ir a ver a John. Él es un buen amigo y un gran artista, de echo es uno de los mejores músicos que conozco al punto de que cada vez que lo escucho tocar la guitarra, pareciera que aprendo algo nuevo y que es mejor que me ponga a practicar y a trabajar duro si algún día quiero ser una estrella de rock tan grande como él.
Como último recurso siempre podes encerrar a tus fanáticos dentro de un almacén, aunque no te lo recomiendo mucho ya que pueden enojarse un poco, especialmente si te olvidas de ellos y los dejas encerrados ahí durante una semana mientras te vas al festival de Singapur.
Así que resumiendo: practica, escucha a los grandes del género y no te olvides de tus fans!

Rising star is an awesome game and gives so much potential to write stories and Lore about it - More people should start turning their posts into Rising star lore as opposed to simple fact sheets (myself included xD)
