So far we are pushing new packs rather quickly in Rising start lately. In fact in under a week we picked up another with three new cards. They didn't help much in terms of progress. I kind of wish all cards helped instead of actully hurt you in the game as I don't see any real value in most of the cards.
Today we picked up
R116 - new instrument with also gives me 50 luck
63 Clinton which hosts 10 fans and 1 skill
52 Trisha which is 10 fans 5 skill
Overall these don't seem to really be helping me progress in the game and I'm curious if this is how some of the newer players feel when playing this game. Being that no real income modifier kicks in I feel like the game needs some form of new sinks in it as the ones at the top will just continue to accumulate massive amounts of starbits which overall will continue to undercut the value. That is of course unless people just lick picking up a ton of packs but value wise it just doesn't seem to be there.
When you compare this game to something like Splinterlands with card packs we see that Splinterlands packs actully increase in value while Rising star packs continue to decrease in value.
I'm curious to hear others thoughts on this and if the game devs are working on ways to provide more value to the game?
