Hello my co-hivers
Today I am posting something very important and a cause of concern topic, might be helpful for many
I am posting about kids eye health
See your family doctor if you are concerned about your baby's eyes, particularly if:
1-one or both pupils have an unusual or white appearance - this may be noticed in photographs
2-there is persistent watering or discharge from your child's eyes
3-one eye appears to be turned frequently or the eyes do not seem to move well
4-there is extreme sensitivity to light or glare
5-your child's head is always tilted/turn
If none of the above apply to your child but there is a family history of eye related problems, then the ideal time for your child to have an eye check is between the ages of 2 and a half and 3 years. At this age, your child will be old enough for a very accurate vision test and it is still early enough to manage any problems.
All the above information is based on my own research about eye health as my 3 year old is having myopia (nearsightedness) , wearing glasses from the age of 2 years, we have regular eye checkups for him by pediatrics eye-specialist
It was really traumatic for us to accept that our toddler has weak eyesight, but as time passes we accept it and we make hime love to wear glasses as we buy frames of different pretty colors and styles of our kid's choice. I shared his pic also here.
My kid is my heartbeat.
In this world no one is 100 % perfect .
The perfection comes with handling imperfections
The example of this is my kid. He is very active, intelligent, cute and smart
Thank you 🌹
Hope you all give time to your kids and keep an eye on their health
Will post again, another important topic.
Till then take care. Have a good hiveing

Hello there!
Thank you so much for posting in the community! I loved reading your story. Your baby boy looks really cute! I'm sorry to hear that you deal with these health problems..
I especially love your phrase here ❤️
and I can feel all your struggle and parenthood feelings you have with this eye situation.
Is there anything you can do for your kid later? Like a surgery or somethting like that?
Thank you for remanding us that is important to have a check up on the oftalmologist. You're not the only one saying this, I actually heard someone last week saying exactly the same thing so yeah, You're right. A check up would be appropiate in early childhood. The signs you mentioned are also pertinent! Thanks again for writting this post!
Sending you all the best from Romania
Can't say about future, but yes there is a faith that all will be well.
Yes , laser surgery is available but it can only be done after age of 20 and for this there are many more parameters.
Thank you
