Rising Star
Another HIVE project I strongly support & frequently include Rising Star assets in my #stashpass raffles.
This is mostly due to Rising Star Being free to play meaning any & all recipients can use the asset in question they have won.
Here is a fun fact about Rising Star their common NFTs are in certain cases reaching their production upper limit.
This has lead to a recent price increase on many of their common NFTs, overall aiding the players stats all used NFTs in Rising Star possess benefits from ownership.
Aforementioned benefits typically making the game more profitable on average per mission in the long run.
Their NFT mint numbers in Rising Star are finite but given benefits stack there is incentive for the player not to sell them.
So while Daphne a few months ago would sell for less then 1000 STARBITS, since the production ended market supplies dwindled increasing the average price to 3x the previous price point.

Splinterlands Play to Win
I am a member of the Splinterlands guild Canna Curate, a cannabis themed guild I was lucky enough to be allowed to join.
The thing about Splinterlands is every so often you and a guild member find yourself facing off with one another.
You may be inclined to go easy on your compatriot, I believe that is an insult, instead approach this as an opportunity for both parties to learn or grow from the experience.

Lets talk WEED
While yes ill literally bore an audience to death going over the science, History, & applications of cannabis. In this section I'm not going over Bud But instead Blockchain.
A little History lesson for you first, HIVE Launched on March 20th, 2020 having first existed on & subsequently forked from STEAM.
What you may not know is several blockchain projects joined HIVE in their STEAM exodus.
Splinterlands being the more recognizable name to part from STEAM with HIVE, but WEED & Weedcash did as well.
Since WEED has existed within the HIVE ecosystem since its inception the earnings mechanisms on HIVE for WEED are numerous.
WEED even has its own EOSIO variant meaning you can actually withdraw WEED from your HIVE wallet.
Now I'm not going to continue to confuse you by explaining the whole concept behind the HIVE DPoS Blockchain its relation to EOSIO assets & specifically how they differ if interested try the following link.

WEED has a set cap of 420,000,000 tokens meaning it will never increase from its limited number of tokens. This is unique in & of itself, you can earn WEED on HIVE via posting / interaction but this is just the start of WEED earning Mechanics.
Staking WEED, WEEDM WEED Miner, or WEEDMM WEED Mega Miner are also a fairly basic means of earning WEED regularly.
Now lets get to a method of earning WEED which is a little more nuanced.

Utilizing a WEED farm correctly within a functional Dcity Build earns the owner a daily WEED income. I have even previously given out WEED farms as #stashpass raffle prizes.
Another game slightly tied to generating WEED profits is Hashkings the Weedcash brother from another mother does allow you to buy or sell their NFTs for WEED on Nefty Mart.
Not even going to lie when I find myself requiring Seed NFTs that I must purchase I love buying them with WEED.
Another obscure WEED earning Mechanism is Hive Commerce Token or COM for short.

High thoughts
While high the other day I was thinking about random shit, specifically the nature of what we label as random in regards to computer programing.
An RNG or in certain cases Boolean system options for Smart Contract plugins to NFT packs very wildly in complexity from NFT colection to NFT colection, that is not even addressing the immense differences in NFTs from Blockchain to Blockchain.
So while my mind was awash in Pot Smoke & Profundity, I began reflecting on the concept of what a computer would see as something truly random.
This is when I remembered a Game theorist video from a while back in which they explain both simple & more elaborate forms of RNG systems.
The video goes from the basic SEED MOD p1 p2 RNG systems which have the glaring issue of someone with enough data back tracking the initial SEED their RNG system used.
Given NFT packs usually are recorded on the ledger depending upon the complexity of their RNG system enterprising individuals can potentially exploit this type of rudimentary Pre Determinate NFT pack design.
WAX NFT packs for instance can have this type of issue as most are simplistic Predeterminate design with NFT contents being determined by RNG systems assigned via the Packs Smart Contract. However even simplistic pack designs can even vary wildly from WAX colection to WAX colection.
Splinterlands is actually a good example of getting NFT packs right as the packs are non predeterminate, their contents are not decided at moment of production, but instead the moment of execution IE when you open the pack.
Though much more complex it is a form of sudo randomness for all intensive purposes its more then sufficient in complexity to call it more or less random.
In this game theorist video they discuss something truly random on a quantum level, delving into what's known as a quantum vacuum state or a Zero Point Field.
Quantum computing meaning a device allowing for coding in quadrinary instead of binary which gives a computers base coding of true or false 1 or 0. Quadrinary theoretically when the device quantumly isolated & controlled would allow for coding in 1/0/x X being a undetermined true or false truly random controlling all variables outside the computational framework.

Because I was stoned & thinking about random shit, try to keep up.
Back to the Game theorist video above, they also delve into virtual particle creation & their correlation to the phenomena known as hawking radiation. Specifically the virtual particle interaction slowly dissipating the strength of black hole first purposed by the late great theoretical physicist / cosmologist Stephen Hawking.
TLDR Particles / virtual particles blip in & out of existence usually instantaneously canceling each other out. This Phenomena can be observed in a quantum vacuum state or a Zero Point Field.
Here's where the ANU quantum random number server entered the chat. Utilizing the Quantum Random Module coded in Python the Game theorist host was able to build a rudimentary truly randomized program or as they termed it a quantum coin flipper.
The service offered by the ANU quantum random number server located in Australia is free to the public. The Pythonic quantum random module the game theorist host from the video uses is located on Github & I even found it if your interested in taking a look.

My idea is effectively properly implementing something like quantum random module into a NFT packs smart contract would expedite much of the computational effort & result in a truly random system of asset production / distribution in more basic NFT pack designs.
In DPoS models like WAX you want to try & streamline computational requirements when producing assets like NFTs or NFT packs.
Further reaching applications could even theoretically apply it to certain asset distribution mechanisms in P2E games.
Perhaps most importantly we can finally use the terms Quantum, Blockchain, & NFT in the same sentence, causing all crypto haters to have their heads literally explode.
If you want to use any of the design concepts I out lined above above, feel free to do so, if anything comes of it just be sure & give me a shout out.
The odds of that are never as high as I am while thinking about random shit.
