It's generally agreed upon with most cultivators that a 50/50 balance of milky and amber trichomes is a good time to harvest.
If stopping feeding in the last couple of weeks, there will be some amber trichomes present already, but not fully.
Different strains and variances might affect this like Indica vs Sativa.
I can't give you a perfect answer however because this is the first time I've ever been able to inspect trichomes at this magnification, so as my experiences increases, I'll be able to answer this better.
The maturation process is easier to track when able to get magnification to see trichomes clearly.
It'll be interesting to see the trichomes when you crop 👍
I'll pick up a microscope when I get closer to harvest time, definitely a wise purchase!
