Hi Folks
Week 3 is in the book, I did it! I cut off Medusa the purple lemonade autos head, Then i got scissor happy and lollipopped her, and the Low stress training has begun, busy busy busy. Heres where we left off last time...
I clipped off the top a few mm above the 4th node, leaving a bit of a stump.
Then i took off all the potential growth sites below the 4th node, hopefully this channels all that growth where i want it.
This is what we are left with. Hopefully the left side isnt so dominant that i end up with a knuckle instead of a nice T shape.
Now I will use low stress training to spread out the plant and hopefully form a nice even canopy further down the road.
The leaves are still growing weird as hell, I dont think its doing it any harm just the leaves are really yellow and puffy before they fill out to resemble normal healthy leaves. I wonder if my bud brother @derangedvisions purple lemonade is displaying the same quirk
I've also started adding 1 ml of both bio bizz grow and bio bizz bloom to every litre of water, And thats all she wrote this week folks, I think She will survive just fine it only seemed to stunt growth for a day so hopefully topping pays off but only time will tell.
Heres a little nug porn from my lemon pie auto, its a bit hairy or as i like to call it "70's style"
I hope your all keeping well , Im loving looking through all your grows, Im seeing lots of little improvements i can make to both my garden and my blog. As always thanks for reading, voting, curating and just existing youre all awesome!
Those are some weird looking leaves. I have had a plant do that in the past with a few of the leaves that it popped out, but overall, the plant was still pretty healthy. My purple lemonade I have now isn't doing anything like this at the moment.
Good to know, its an oddball but im sure itll be fine.
Every plant reacts different after toping and for me it is not unusual that sometimes some leaves get sick. I would thick sick leaves so they don't drain energy from healthy part.
On photosensitive strains I would preform toping two times, on third and six nood.
All the leaves developed like this before the topping, as long as the buds develop alright, maybe il get lucky and get the gigantism mutation aswell lol
that would be fantastic

So weird. Almost looks like a lettuce leaf! Be had funky stuff going on early like that, but they usually correct themselves after a few more nodes.
How can I add that sexy ass banner of yours (and other peoples banners) to my posts? I need to get these posts looking a little less basic.
Does it worth to do any kind of phytothecnik on auto plants? I thought based on what i read auto plants just lose on it.
Im not sure, some say yes, some say no. Only way to know is to try for myself.
I’m curious for the result. Waiting your posts about the process :)
