The Apricot Kush cannabis plant had stem training, the Fog OG auto and Pineapple Express plants are blooming, and the Durban Violette in the green house is being indecisive.
Apricot Kush
This Apricot Kush plant has had five weeks of vegetative growth, big green leaves on this healthy looking plant. I made a point of not bringing the lights too close, to avoid overheating or leaf burn.
At week four the plant had some light training, the top of the plant was tied down towards the ground, so the branches would grow up at a similar height with the main stalk. The tied down top had already turned upwards toward the light by the next day.

I'll give this plant two more weeks of vegetative growth before I put it into bloom. I would let it veg a little longer, but this plant could be pollen producing male or a bud producing female, so I'm anxious to put it in bloom to find out.
Pineapple Express
After four weeks of bloom time, the Pineapple Express bud pistils are filling in, they're already giving off a sweet and dank pineapple scent.
This dainty Pineapple Express plant had eight weeks of vegetative growth before it was put into 12/12 bloom mode. Smaller buds and plant structure so far as compared to Pink Apricot or Orange Barb strains.
I'm not sure if the smaller plant size is genetics or technique, I'll know more the next time I grow this strain. Six more weeks for these buds to fatten for harvest.
Fog OG auto
The Fog OG auto flowering strain has had seven weeks of growth total. It went into bloom automatically after the third week of growth. A lot of buds stalks, and a decent main cola stalk shooting up, plenty of pistils filling in.
Sweet and dank fruity scent from the buds. Auto flowering plants are harvest ready after ten weeks from seedling.
Three more weeks for this plant, but I may give it a couple extra weeks to be sure the budding has finished.
Durban Violette
This Durban Violette cannabis plant has been growing from seedling for ten weeks total, four weeks ago it started going into bloom early after being moved to the green house.
With the days growing longer each day, the bloom mode may have stalled and slid back into veg mode until September, I'll have to wait and see. I'll let it go back into veg instead of trying to artificially shortening the days with shade.
Good stuff bro,
I love the profile of the foliage on the Apricot Kush.
The Pineapple Express and Fog OG auto look super dank.
What do you think is going on with some of your foliage?
Mine looks similar with lower foliage, yellowing and leaf tips dry up.
I gave them extra magnesium and it seemed to help some.
Nice work bro,

Hard to tell, I'm thinking one of my big led lights runs hotter, so I've been raising it higher than normal, giving it more like 18 inches to the tops instead of just twelve. I use fresh potting soil with each grow, so I wasn't thinking deficiency, but it's possible. A lot of plants get raggity when they bolt, I've been more concerned with giving too much nutrients, but I may give a little with these plants, but mostly I'll try to not let them get too hot and keep them watered. I'm slowly getting it dialed in, but the next two harvests are looking like they'll be smaller but they'll be tasty :D
Sounds like a good perspective to me.
I've not ruled out light intensity and heat as a factor with my issues too.
What I notice with yours like with mine, is the bud formation is healthy. That is the most important aspect of course.
I've been experimenting around trying to narrow it down.
I think some genetics are just more prone to yellowing and leaf drop too.
The Pineapple Express I messed up with around the fourth week, a couple days after training it dehydrated and I lost a bunch of fan leaves - the watering got away from me in the 24hr light tent. I'm thinking that stunted it, so I'm holding my strain judgement on that one until I grow it again :) I kept up with the watering on the fog OG autoflower, I'm thinking a hot light with that one, with too much light maybe it just grew too hardcore lol :) old yellowing leaves don't bother me too much, it's the crispy leaves that worry me more.
That fog Og is about to go into the upside down world lol. If my one plant is a dude I’ll make it a pollen collection project and send you some for the sake of science. That is if your down?
I'd be up for that - I was tempted to pollinate a branch of the fog OG autoflower, but I figured the variety of auto/sativa/indica seeds produced would be like a box of chocolates :D I was going to pollinate the pineapple Express, but this one was a little small so I'm going to wait until the next one.
Man, that is some healthy looking plants there. I must say my sore bones would love testing it out.😀
Thanks, I've been slowly dialing in their environment - they do ease the aches and pains :)
wowww really nice plants we will see great buds this season :D
Thanks, I'm looking forward to the new variety of buds to smoke :)
You have an incredible garden, from here you can smell the sweet scent.
Thanks, a tasty variety :)
Those look awesome! How is the Durban Viloette?
Durban Violette budding seems stalled from the longer days, I might have to wait until September for that one to go into full budding :)
Is it good stuff? I've never tried it
I haven't tried this one yet either, I've tried the Durban Poison strain before, energetic lemon lime licorice flavor sativa, the original Durban sativa is from south Africa. The Durban Violette is supposed to have a slightly fruity flavor to it :)
Cool! You'll have to let me know how it is!

Great work. But why it's not contain fruit yet?
It takes ten weeks for budding to finish after it starts, two of the plants are almost half done and showing little buds, with weed the buds are the 'fruit' :)
