The Orange Apricot cannabis plant and it's clone are in the bloom tent, together again for a short time. The Pink Kush buds have some Pink to them, the Pineapple Express still has another week until it's put into bloom.
Orange Apricot
The Orange Apricot cannabis plant has been in bloom for seven weeks, one more week until these buds are harvested, it looks like they'll be ready.
There are a lot of mature bud colors, light and dark greens, along with yellow, pink, and purple shades. There are many bright orange pistil pairs along with new white ones. This Orange Apricot was grown from a crossbred seed that was created when I pollinated an Orange Barb bud with Pink Apricot pollen, i can see many of the desired traits from both parent plants.
There was a sweet orange citrus scent coming from the buds for much of the grow, now it's core of a candy like orange scent, nice. There's an even coating of THC trichomes shimmering on the buds and bud leaves.
By the looks and the scent, these Orange Apricot buds will have a tasty buzz and flavor, I'm looking forward to sampling them. Less than a week until harvest, then I'll give them six days to dry before curing.
Orange Apricot clone
This Orange Apricot clone, below-left, had a little more than six weeks of vegetative growth time. It was put into bloom mode a few days ago, receiving twelve hours of red spectrum light per day.
This clone's mother plant, the Orange Apricot above-right, only had five weeks of vegetative growth time, I'm curious to see how much the harvest weight difference will be with the extra week. This plant has received extensive main stalk training, it was tied down so the branches would grow upwards together, to form a level upper canopy, for the most efficient LED grow light usage.
You can see the two left topped branch stalk tops below, each topped stalk has two tops. They were rising above the canopy too quickly and needed to be stalled for the rest of the tops to catch up.
This Orange Apricot clone was just put into bloom mode, nine weeks remain until harvest, pistils should start to show next week, when the plant has fully gone into bloom.
Pink Kush
This Pink Kush cannabis plant has been in bloom for six weeks - a bushy plant with good structure, growing some hefty buds.
The basement has been below 70 degrees Fahrenheit at night with the cooler fall temperatures, it's been changing some of the fan and bud leaves to purple tones. Along with the ample coating of white trichomes, some pink shades of it's name sake have appeared, nice. The buds have a strong sweet and fruity scent to them, the exhaust fan is kept on full blast all the time.
Less than half of the pistil pairs have turned orange, many new white pistils are still appearing, these buds aren't slowing down.
You can see the little bend in the main stalk below from training, that's all it took for the vigorous growing lower branches to catch up. This Pink Kush is the most aggressive and hardy cannabis strain I've grown so far, beauty genetics, two more weeks until harvest.
Pineapple Express
This Pineapple Express plant has had five weeks of vegetative growth, with extensive bent main stem training for the past two weeks. The plant bushed out nicely and is looking healthy with it's wide indica leaning leaves.
Above-left you can see the main stalk pulled down towards the right, this stalk laid low. A low and decently level canopy of leaves was created as the lower branches grew upwards.
A couple aggressive branches were also tied back a little to lower their tops, and to open the plant up to more light. This Pineapple Express plant is filling in well, in another week I'll put it into bloom mode.
The Orange Apricot and Pink Kush are both stunning bro, great work.
It's impossible to pick a favorite out of the two visually because they both have amazing characteristics going on. The Orange Apricot has some long trichomes and lots of them, I think that particular pheno is going to have an incredible long lasting buzz quality.
Thanks, it's fun growing two strains so different together, each with different color pallets and growing styles - Orange Apricot sativa leaning, and the Pink Kush showing off the indica style. I'm harvesting that Orange Apricot any day now, looking forward to the buzz and taste test :)

Yours plants looks awesome, i liek the size of those buds if was by me i harvesting right now :D
Thanks, the Orange Apricot will be harvested soon, if I wasn't counting the weeks I probably would have harvested a couple weeks ago, but there's been a lot of fattening and extra growth, it'll be worth the wait :)
Even people who don't smoke weed will be willing to smoke this
Look at how healthy it looks
