Pineapple Express, Fog OG, Durban Violette blooms + Apricot Kush pollen, Pink Kush seed started

The Pineapple Express buds are in the thickening stage with four more weeks until harvest, the Fog OG autoflowering plant is a short timer with only one week remaining. The Durban Violette was brought back inside and is back in bloom mode, Apricot Kush pollen was harvested, and a Pink Kush seed has been started.

Pineapple Express

This Pineapple Express cannabis plant has had eight weeks of vegetative growth, and six weeks of bloom mode - it's looking like four more weeks until harvest for these thickening buds.

Many of the buds are growing together to form stalk top bud colas, many of the white pistils have turned to a bright orange color as they mature. There's a sweet citrus pine candy-like scent.

The buds and leaves have a generous dusting of white THC trichomes, the build up of them will become resinous soon.

One impressive main cola, and a handfull of medium size ones - I'm looking forward to seeing how much larger they will swell during the remaining four weeks of bloom before harvest.

Fog OG auto

With nine weeks of growth and bloom, this Fog OG autoflowering cannabis plant has one or two more weeks until harvest.

There's one main cola that towers above all, and more than a handful of other decent size colas. There's not really enough growth time for a ten week autoflowering plant to benefit from training, but I'm impressed with the amount of buds this one has produced in such a short time.

They have a sweet and fruity dank fuel scent, the buds are getting that crispy resinous look to them - they are definitely getting close to harvest.

After nine weeks of long 24 hours per day of lighting, this short season, ten week autoflowering Fog OG, is looking like it will be right on time with one more week until harvest.

Durban Violette

This Durban Violette has had a total of twelve weeks of growth. At week eight the plant was brought outdoor to the greenhouse, and briefly went into bloom, but it stalled as the days were quickly getting longer.

Last week the plant was brought back indoor to force it back into bloom with twelve hours of light per day. It seems to have slid back into bloom mode, the buds have continued to grow larger now, with a sweet and fruity scent to them.

LED grow lights have a few feet of light penetration, below that is limited light energy. Any of the leaves or buds below that aren't very productive, so I've trimmed them so the plant will focus on the upper plant growth.

I'll estimate eight more weeks of bloom time until harvest, this deep root Durban Violette bud formation is just getting started.

Apricot Kush pollen

Last week the Apricot Kush cannabis plant was found to be a pollen producing male. I trimmed most of the bushy plant down to size, so the pollen collection would be easier to manage - leaving only the top few nodules of the main stalk.

IMG_20230625_184847_272.jpg NowIMG_20230625_184153_484.jpg Now

After a short week of bloom time you can see how much the single stem has vigorously bolted with many pollen flower buds quickly filling in.

You can see one of them has already opened, making it easy for pollen collection. With a few taps the pollen falls into the rice fiber rolling paper.

I'll harvest additional of the pollen when more of the pollen buds open. The harvested pollen is folded in the securely in the paper and placed in a ziplock bag and in the freezer for later bud pollination use.

The lower bud of the Durban Violette will most likely be cross pollinated with this Apricot Kush pollen for seed variety production.

Pink Kush seed soaking

Pink Kush is a heavy 90/10 indica that aids appetite, relaxation, pain relief, and many other chronic ailments. Pink Kush buds have a sweet pine, wood kush, and flower scent and flavor.

I have a Pink Kush feminized seed soaking - it will give rise to a bud producing female cannabis plant. If all goes well, the seedling should be above dirt by next week.

Have a great day!

Wow those buds look good! That Pink Kush should be great.

Thanks, I've been missing a heavy indica from my grows and evening smokes, the Pink Kush will hit the spot :)

That sounds like awesome stuff!
