I reached for the Royal Highness sativa cannabis foil zip-lock pouch for a morning sample - another strain from the ocs.ca cannabis delivery. Euphoric, lightly cushioned, energetic mind and body buzz with good focus and motivation - tasty lightly fruity diesel flavor. I also had a chance to dig more into the proposed cannabis legalization and control legislation that the citizens in New Zealand that citizens will be voting on in the upcoming 2020 general elections.

Royal Highness

The Royal Highness 40/60 sativa dominant cannabis strain was created with the crossing of the Dance Hall and Respect strains (Source). These buds by Good Supply were grown in Leamington, Ontario - they have a solid 22% THC with ample Beta-Pinene, Caryophyllene, Humulene, Limonene, and Myrcene terpenes (Source).

The crispy Royal Highness buds are bright green with tiny bright orange pistils, and an amber trichome coating with a candy-like sweet and bright fruity pungent skunky scent, that's nice.

New Zealand Citizens to Vote on Proposed Cannabis Legalization

Cannabis is currently illegal in New Zealand with possession of a small amount not usually being given jail time, and distributors and cultivators looking at upwards of 7-8 years of prison time. The New Zealand government has proposed recreational cannabis legalization legislation that it will put forward for the people to vote on during the 2020 general election - "Justice Minister Andrew Little said the vote would be binding, but it will ultimately be up to the next administration to enact the legislation." (Source). The recreational cannabis legalization and control proposal includes the legal age set to 21, being able to grow 2 cannabis plants per person or 4 per household on their own property for personal use. The carry around in public and purchase limit would be 14 grams, consumption would be limited to private residence or licensed premises, no online sales, there would be a ban on marketing, warning labels and potency control would be required, state licensing regime, and a cannabis regulatory authority would be established to license and tax cannabis (Source). The proposal seems decent to me, with the provision for being able to grow your own included, high hopes for New Zealand.

The Roll Up

I reached for the ultra thin Elements rice fiber papers for the Royal Highness roll up. Sheer papers, they burn clean and smooth.

Looks like a good enough deal to keep people out of jail for simple cannabis possesion - especially being able to grow your own at home, it seems fair as far as regulation goes.

Id be happy to visit new zealand if there was legal cannabis, a place really looses my interest if I would be assaulted or harassed for possessing cannabis.
