What's up Weed Nerds! Why am I happy? Well take a wild guess! This grow has been a big learning experience. I upgraded from a 32 inch by 32 inch to a 4 foot x 4 foot tent, thinking it would make controlling the environment a little easier. Mainly for growing more cannabis though. I had a rude awaking. It took awhile to figure it out, but even when I did figure it out, I still had work to put in. Lesson learned. Low humidity is a death sentence for plants in VEG. Below are shots from the past 2-3 months. ENJOY!
I've only ever had problems with extra humidity, not lack of! And it's dry as a mofo up here in wintertime. The air crackles with static. But maybe I've just been lucky, who knows? Normally I have to watch for damping off in seedling stage, and then mold in flowering. Maybe I tend to grow strains that like things dry, I don't know.
EDIT: How come some of the plants are bright yellow? Or is that the lighting? hahah.
That was due to the low humidity. What happens is when it gets to low, the stogmata will close, and the plant does not absorb the nutrients, and the soil will get acidic, causing a Cal/mag problem.
Makes sense that it looks like a magnesium deficiency. I would assume you had enough Mg in the soil or water, it's just that the plant couldn't uptake it properly because of low humidity. Is your house extra dry, or do you live in a dry region? I'm fairly dry here, but so far haven't had any problems like this. I just grow right out in the dry living room air and they're happy. Man there's so much still to learn.

Just get a humidifier bro. It is something I should of had before I even thought about cracking seed. Lesson learned
Yeah, you in the winter? I have been low all winter and it is sucks. I have hooked up another humidifier to see if I can get it up.

Nice one, Humidity is a bitch for everyone, Its too high or too low. My veg tent is at 25-30 and I can't get it higher in this dam cold.
Yeah I bought a humidifier . But switching to flower helped it drastically!
