I have been dealing with depression
So I have been a ghost around here. Not because I wanted to, but because I was blocked. Though it has been a long time, I always smoke. I just haven't been sharing about it. But that time is gone and I am hopefully back. But saying that depression can come and go with waves so I won't be promising anything.
Today I am smoking on some Georgia Pie
I got this strain in Battle Creek Michigan at a dispensary called Breaking Bud. The first time we went in there, we became instant fans. They deal in Organic cannabis. Since my husband caught covid in 2020 he hasn't been able to smoke, it hurts his lungs too bad. Since we started buying from Breaking Buds he is able to smoke again. So we think Covid did something to his lungs making it impossible for him to smoke if chemicals have been used to grow it. The downside is Breaking Bud for the big buds is expensive, but we found that we can buy the smaller buds that tests the same as the bigger buds but at a better price. So we now go there when I need to reup so then he can partake occassionally to when he wants.
I know I normally talk about the strain or have in the past
But today I want to focus on this dispensary. I never have tasted strains as flavorful as the strains we have been picking up from Breaking Bad. They don't have the best prices but they by far have the best cannabis I have ever smoked when it comes to not only the buzz but the flavor of their cannabis.
The first four strains I bought
Were Watermelon Zittles, Blue Zittles, BlackBerry and Blueberry Up. And though many strains can have a fruity flavor about them. I never ever have had a strain taste so much like candy than these 4 strains tasted. Watermelon zittles tasted straight up like Hubba Bubba Watermelon Bubble gum. Like when you first put it in your mouth before it loses it flavor. Blue Zittles was muted some of flavor and wasn't watermelon but it was fruity and I never could put my finger on what flavor it actually was. The Blackberry should have been named Peach Jolly Rancher cause it tasted like a Peach Jolly rancher. And the Blueberry up tasted like I was eating Blue Berries. I swear I never had anything so full of flavor like this dispensary has.
Some of the names are confusing on their strains
Because they taste like something different. Like Georgia Pie, it tastes like I am smoking green grapes, so if it tastes like grapes why is it called Georgia Pie? Or the Blackberry that tasted like Peach Jolly Ranchers? Sometimes I don't get how they name a strain especially if it tastes like a food.
Breaking Bud if you see this
Keep doing what you are doing, you all are doing a great job. Even if I have to buy the smaller buds to keep in budget, it is very well done. Protip if you go on a Wednesday to this dispensary you get (I think it is 15% off on Flower) Making it slightly more affordable.
Till next time stoners
Puff, Puff Pass, don't fuck up the rotation. And for inquiring minds Georgia Pie is a solid 10 in rating.

I have to travel to a neighboring state to get access to dispensaries but either way in my state I am breaking the law, hence why my profile photo has a bag on my head. I got to stay anonymous. But I would rather travel a few hours and have choices than to pay $300+ for an ounce on the black market.

Im curious how much do you have to pay per gram?
Depends on which dispensary I am at and how much it costs this strain cost me $1.72 a gram or $50 an ounce after the $15 discount I was given from reward points. Regular price on this one was $65. But I sometimes spend as much as $100 an ounce or more depending on the strains and the size of the buds.

Damn those prices are very doable.
In the Netherlands average price per gram is at least 10 euro.
That is the legal market which I have to cross state lines to access, if I was accessing it on the so called "black market" which I actually like to call the free market the same ounce would run between $240-$330 or more.

Okay i see.
Opposite from here the black/free market is a bit cheaper here. But the quality is often crap.
It is weird, the pandemic hit and with-in 8 months there was a drought of cannabis and it didn't help that California was having Wild Fires, it caused a shortage in the black/free market around here. The cheap stuff was fire/smoke damage, the only way was to go into the legal market. When I first started going, I could find deals buy one ounce for $150 or two for $250. But as more dispensaries opened up in the area it started getting cheaper, but Battle Creek has the best prices by far, it is about 30 minutes further of a drive, but I buy a bunch at one time so I only have to make the trip once every 4 to 6 weeks.

Depression is a bitch that is for sure. Cool to see you though. I deleted the canna server a few months ago. It just became a dumping ground for spam. Putting all my efforts over here. Although I’ve been away the past week since we just had our 3rd baby boy:)
Posts like these are very welcomed here. Hopefully we can see more in the near future. We definitely need some more activity here! Lol
Congrats on the new baby, lots of sleepless nights ahead of you. I was wondering where it went and where you were at. I am gonna try, but the way the depression has hit me I know not to make promises, but I do have plenty of materials for content that is for sure. And I love to dispensary hop and try new ones if they are in budget.
