I use peet moss
You don't add anything to it? Just peat? That's crazy 🤣
Peet for drainage.. I'm using worm castings and goat manure compost for nutrients.
Perlite for drainage peats added for soil mixture. Worm castings are great.
My soil here is mostly sand. For my greenhouse I added peet manure and earthworm poop... we'll see how it turns out but it looks pretty good after I rototilled it..
Yeah I know how it is... I'm always in between crops when contests and challenges happen :P
But let me know down the road if you'd like a few of these Reclining Buddhas.
Yeah, perlite is fine too, but I'm using peat moss for drainage. I don't find my roots having any problem penetrating my soil mix, just moss and castings. Nothing wrong with perlite though.
