RE: Gardening : Plant Breeding and DNA day

in WeedCash Network2 years ago

I had no idea that there was a DNA day. As someone who has been closely and deeply involved in plants all my life, I can say that I do not, and would never choose to, work with genetically-engineered plants. Genetics are far more complex than we've been led to believe, with much more to take into account, such as the epigenetic layer, and present-day genetic engineering is little more than frakenscience. I would never eat genetically modified plants, as doing so can be extremely problematic in terms of health.

Working with the natural means of plant breeding and selection is how I choose to do it, as it's aligning with the plants in a far more cooperative and respectful manner. As the saying goes, not all things which glitter are gold. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thank you for sharing. You are right, sometimes science doesn't need to be applied to everything
😀

Absolutely, you're most welcome! It's not so much that science not be applied to everything, it's more that a greater expression of science, which has a far more integral perspective on existence is applied. It's not so much what we do, but how we do it. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
