Is my pleasure been here for this week. My appreciation goes to our able afritunes community for bringing Afro-Inleo Initiative to our door post. I have always enjoyed participating in this initiative for the on set. This is week 10 and I believe that for those of us who started it from the beginning which is week 1, it has been an amazing experience for us.
Sometimes when the topic comes it opens our eyes to some certain things that was not in the picture from beginning for us. Just like the last one that say your favorite keys when singing. It made me begin to ask myself some questions that landed me to what I wrote last week and it was an enlightenment for me. After that participation all the knowledge that I had gotten still remained with me. And I believe that it will help me to guide other alright.
Looking at the topic for this week I also had to start asking myself some questions since last night when I decided to go to the community to check for the topic. I know that I love the musical instruments, but which one do I love the most and can talk about it very well? This has been the question on my mind. And after alot of deliberation within me I decided to go with the beautiful guitar 🎸. Aside the guitar, I love the drum too. I also love the piano. But my passion and love for the guitar is greater than what I feel or know about the rest of the instruments.
THESE ARE THE FOUR MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES THAT I LOVE ABOUT THE GUITAR 🎸
- You can move around with it. Before now when I see people with their guitar hung on their back I just fall in love with it. Is not like the drum that can't be carried around when one is going to somewhere to play it.
- Rythm: the rythm is just superb. Is so so different from other musical instruments. You can actually play it alone and sing which makes the song very interesting.
- Melody: the third thing about the guitar is the melody is give when you are playing it. The melody is just too much. I love it when I see people singing and playing the guitar. It gives their song a good balance.
- Lastly, the guitar is not like the drum or piano that must be connected to electricity before it will work. Just like in Nigeria today that we hardly get electricity, the guitar will still be played even when there is no light.
In conclusion, for me the guitar is very special because of these few features that I have mentioned above - it's rythm, the melody it gives, must not be connected to electricity before it will work and can be carried around when one needs to use it somewhere else.
Also note that I still enjoy other instrument as the case maybe. Just that I have selected the guitar as the best for me when we want to do some comparism.
