I have come across a lot of songs for this year, so when I came to the community to check what the topic is and I saw it, I was some how confused on what to present. I know so many of the songs for this year and I am in love with so many of them. This kind of put me in a delima. I don't really know which one to go for. How ever, for the sake of the week initiative, I decided to pick a song at least. In fact, I will not just go with one song I will be talking about two different songs by different people.
First I will love to point this particular song by @chidistickz, titled - HAPPY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND. He did that song not too long ago in hive openmic community to celebrate all his friends this Christmas. Luckily for me I was tagged and that was how I got to know about it. Celebrating Christmas is one thing, but celebrating it with your friends and loved ones in your life is very special. I love the way he reached out to his friends through that song.

This song brings me closer to God's mercy when ever I listen to it. It is a reminder to us that God is a merciful God. His mercy endures for ever. We really need to embrace the mercy of God now that we have it.
I believe that his mercy is all the message of Christmas. If his mercy is taken away, then there will be no need for Christmas.
WHAT'S THE TAKE FOR ME?
combination of these two songs sparkles the love of God in my life. The first one talks about Christmas with friends and the second talks about God's mercy. This is the reason why I decided to go with these two songs as my best for the year 2024. Waiting for 2025 to emerge.
