Guys, welcome back to Afro-Inleo Initiative 28. Happy Christmas once again to people like myself who are Christmas fans. Maybe someone should tell me why he or she loves Christmas too much. Let me leave that for another day.
When we talk about mentorship, which is better? Physical mentorship or online mentorship? You know that everyone has his or her own understanding or the way we reason about things. Someone may say that physical mentorship is the best as far as he is concerned. While another person may say that online mentorship is the best. But when we put two of them side by side with all their advantages and disadvantages then it will help us to draw the conclusion on which we prefer best.
Let's start with online mentorship.
Learning any kind of instruments or even music online might not be that easy for some people. You need to see what the person is doing so that as you are mimicking you will be expert. The only thing there is that sometimes you have to watch and watch the video again so that you can understand. While for the coach online feels better because it doesn't take much time and he will do all the videos he needs to do. You can just come in and watch and learn, then drop your questions. That same video you watched and learn will still be there for the next generation to come and watch and still learn there. The coach or teacher have less work to do here while the learner or student will do more of the work.
Second one is on sit coaching.
This particular one empowers the learner more than the coach. The learner sees the teacher or coach and learn as the teacher is leading in the process. This is real life situation. It gets easier for the learner because there won't be more confusion hence the teacher is there to guide the learner in person.
In this aspect, the teacher goes through all the pains in putting the students through until the students learn. As the teacher is seriously teaching the student, the lessons dies there and can't be moved to the next generation because it is just between the two of them unless he decides to record the process which will still amount to online learning for those who will use it. Unlike the online training, the teacher suffers more here and the student get all the benefits here.
While is left for us to make our choice. If it is for me I will prefer the physical mentorship than the online lectures as a student. But as a teacher I will prefer to go with the online training because of the next generation who might come to learn from the online site. I hope that I am not been selfish.

I also will prefer physical mentorship aswell based on my training of some students in the past and how well they did.

The truth must be said physical mentorship is just the best any were I go I know everyone have his own mode of learning but those that learn online still come to those that knows it physically to still learn again thank you ma
We all do have our different ways of assemilation which will also reflect in all that we do. Yes on a plain note, physical contacts does a lot for me too because the connection between the tutor and the one being taught gets intensified and if the tutor is so charismatic, the one being coach finds more interest too

Both online and physical mentorship is good depending on an individual.
