So I have been very epileptic with my coming around the community these days.
And it’s not because I want to. There have been son much happening recently with me, that I just could not keep up.
More so, I still haven’t fixed my saxophone yet after it got involved in an accident late last year.
I haven’t even played the saxophone in almost 6 months. I planned to pick up the bass guitar pending when I’m able to fix my sax or get another one but I haven’t even done anything close.
So I decided to find some solace in tryong out singing again.
This time I decided to sing a song for a very dear person to me who was celebrating her birthday recently as a gift for her.
We’ve had quite some time together. I didn’t have much to give as a sunstantial gift to her so I decided to compose a song for her
I composed the song reflecting on what I considered as the best form of encouragement for her through whatever season she might be going through.
And she sure did love the song from start to finish.
I hope you love it too and it encourages you.
Here were the lyrics:
VERSE
Is life taking a toll on you?
Many things seem not to work
Promises may seem to fail
But God is got you anyway
Life might not be a bed of roses
But there’s more than that, can’t you see
Everything might seem to go wayward
But everything’s gonna work out for your good
REFRAIN:
On this day,
I hope you see God working
On this day,
I hope you see this awakening
On this day,
I hope you rest on hope
On this day,
A hope that’s always gold

This is wonderful bro. I was thinking you only know how to handle the sax. I didn’t know you also have a powerful voice. I really enjoyed your performance @draysax
Oh well, I'm trying my best to sing.
Thank you so much!
You are welcome my friend...
Sorry about your sax, I hope you'll be able to fix it soon.
Good to see you again brother, we look forward to seeing you around more often.
Thank you so much man
You sing so well even without the saxophone, I enjoyed watching you sing....
Sorry about your sax and I believe God will make a way as soon as possible for you.
Thank you so much. I hope I'm able to sort out the sax thing soon.
But I'm singing and I'll probably pick up the bass for now.
Lovely rendition bro.
There are challenges that come our way some times and they just make us stay on a low key. It's understandable, I am sure God will make provision so you can repair of get a new Sax.
Thank you so much. It's much easier for me to express myself on an instrument.
I'll probably pick up another instrument in the interim.
You definitely would still do well🎉💓
