My Music Goals For 2025
There is no one who ever embarks on a serious project expecting mind-blowing results that doesn't have a laid down plan.
Setting goals in life is one of the things that helps us to tread with precision, direction and accuracy.
There are so many things we are pursuing in life and each of them seems to be crucial, without a laid down goal for us to know how far we should go on each and how much we should take at a time, we may end up being frustrated and archiving just little.
I have learned to live by setting goals even when they seem small after I discovered that It's very difficult to arrive at the expected destination when we don't have the exact description of where we are going to.
This year I have already set out a lot of goals in various aspects of my life hoping to see improvement in each of them. Though some of them are not as catchy as everyone would want them to be, it's not about gathering so many unrealistic goals, it's about setting a few that you can actually pursue and give life to.
My music life last year was very discouraging, a lot of things that I ought to have mastered are still a problem to me and to be frank, I am to blame for that.
In view of that, I want to make adjustments this year and see how far I can build my music life again.
Firstly, I want to work on my vocals, I won't lie, I still battle with my pitch and tone when singing and it doesn't speak well of me.
I am not saying I want to be a pro overnight, growth is a process but I want to upgrade and I want it swiftly, I have dwelt in one place for so long. So, I'll commit to a lot of practice this year. I am planning to resume rehearsal in my church choir and submit myself till I get what I want.
Secondly, I want to learn at least one musical instrument before the year runs out. I am thinking of going for a keyboard.
I have already spoken to a friend who knows how to play about it and gotten a few videos online and watched some already.
The last thing I want to work on this year in my music life is my stage confidence. Last Sunday the man that sang really impressed me. It was like he was interacting with his friends, the smiles on his face, the way he was so free and confident while singing was top notch.

I want that kind of boldness too. I want to sing on stage like it's part of me. I want to be free and bold. I hate it when I sing like I am being programmed like a robot just because I am scared of making mistakes. I know it will take me some time but I'll pay the price and ensure I get what I want.

These goals are realistic and I am sure you can achieve them if I put some effort and proper planing.
