The Melodic Mind: Exploring the Emotional Depths of Music

in AFRI-TUNES22 hours ago

Hello readers, Welcome to my blog, where we delve into the captivating world of the psychology of music and explore the question: What does it make you feel?

I do ask myself, "***Why do I feel this way when I listen to this kind of music? and feel different when I listen to another genre of music." This shows you the power of sounds or music in your psychological mind. There is a certain frequency sound you will listen to that can help you calm your mind, while others boost your motivation level. Why do you think movies add some sound effects? This is because they want the audience to connect more with what is displayed on the screen.

Music has a unique way to evoke a wide range of emotions within us. From joy and excitement to sadness and nostalgia, the power of music to influence our moods and emotions is truly remarkable. Have you ever noticed how a particular song can transport you back in time, eliciting memories and emotions long forgotten? Or how a certain melody can instantly uplift your spirits and make you feel invincible?

That is to show you the power music has on us. Is this a good thing, you may ask? Yes, it is a good thing. There are times when music can bring back a long-lost forgotten memory; it can be good and it can be a sad one. There is nothing to be ashamed of or sad about in our past because our past made us who we are and gave us a present, which is today.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the psychology of music is its ability to resonate with us on a deep, emotional level. There is music that brings tears to our eyes because of how it makes us feel—sometimes joy, other times sorrow. Whether it's the lyrics that speak to our innermost thoughts and feelings or the melody that stirs our souls, music has a way of connecting with us in ways that words alone cannot.

Most time when I am at my workplace, I listen to artists like "Gibran
Alcocer" or "Enya." I love this artist because their music is soothing to the soul, and it makes you feel relaxed easily, allowing you to get your work done without getting stressed about it. You should try them out.

In conclusion.

needssoul; One thing about music is that it doesn't need permission to enter your spirit and soul; it finds its way into us and makes us feel either great or bad. This is why a person needs to be careful of the kind of music they listen to too. Thanks for reading.

Love to read your writing about the depths of music in our life. I believe no matter how sad the lyrics and the tone, good feeling will coming after we got a chance to sing a long! I cried sometimes while singing, but I feel good after that. Great post, friend!

Very true. I commented on a friend's blog who said she always feels sad about anything; a particular song comes up because that was the song her deceased brother was always listening to because it was inscribed into her soul.

I understand how she felt, but I told her instead of feeling sad when the song came up, why not think of the happy moment of your brother and how happy he was listening to the music. The way we perceive music matters a lot, and how we interpret it matters too.

Thanks for your comment.
