"Creating Good Music: Overcoming New Industry Hurdles"

HELLO HIVE

Before I start anything I would like anyone reading this to pause a bit and think about what the true definition of good music is because sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between good music and one that is not good.

Yearly, awards are giving to people who get them because we believe that their music is good but the truth is I don't think there has ever been a scale that truly defends some of this awards.

Music 🎵 is gradually losing its essence and beauty 😍 that we used to enjoy back in the day and now what we have are songs that are more about streams than the actual beauty that this songs release.

While I can defend all these without a doubt good music also boils down to the listener and the connection they are making with your song.

The struggle to keep up with the market demands has meant that songs that would naturally be raw and unprepared are filling every streaming sites with songs having just a meaningful first verse or chorus and then the rest don't really matter.

Song writers in the past do take their time to write those master pieces making sure that every note fits in properly but now these flows are missing in our songs and we are now going back to old songs just to rewrite them again.

The level of finance that's going into this industry is gradually reducing the quality of what we are getting cause investors are there to make a case for more money 💰 and musicians have to fulfill that obligation abandoning the act of writing for more time arranging shows.

I believe for someone who is old enough to be around during the nineties cause I wasn't 😂 we probably know how difficult it was to see a Celine Dion concert or a Micheal Jackson concert and every time they gave us something to listen to it was something incredible.

I can affirm that market struggle has been a practical reason why beauty and life is being forced out of our music today.

But even after all this I still have to appreciate this people for the hard work they are putting in to give us good music even with the way the industry has become someone like me 😔 I can't just explain the positive impact that music has had in my life especially when it comes to expressing my self cause I used to be an introverted person but then with the positive impact there's so many negative impacts that it has left in so many life's especially young kids because of the kind of lyrics that we listen to now 😂.

But then I believe that things will get better if the right people are allowed to mentor young upcoming artists out there letting them know that no matter the level you are in when it comes to music there's someone out there who is looking up to you.
