This prompt had me thinking about so many things and people all at once. The first person my mind went to was Ed Sheeran. I mean, everyone would want to be like him and there’s no denying that. Who wouldn’t want a very nice voice, a booming career, a beautiful family, money , no drama and many more good things you can think about. When we talk about music artists , Ed Sheeran is sure among my top 3.
But then, I’m here trying to look on a bigger scope and it hits me. Camilla Cabello has been my day one even before I fell for Ed Sheeran. From the days she was with fifth harmony until she left. I’ve stuck to her like glue. And oh, she’s that one artist I’d want to be like. Because why wouldn’t I? First, she has a great career which is one thing most artists can’t boast of.
If you’d agree with me, most artists see the end of their careers after a few years and why’s that so? Because they’re not authentic. Authenticity is key in the music industry. You don’t go around copying others as someone in the music industry. If I’m to talk about authenticity, Camilla Cabello is it! She’s one talented woman who makes sure to capture her audience in each and everyone of her songs.
One thing that makes me love her more is that fact that she never forgets her roots. All her songs have a bit of Spanish or something to depict where she’s from. That’s what I call authentic. Anytime I hear a song with beats all the way from Cuba or Mexico, I think of her because that’s her brand. To add to all this, I’d say Camilla Cabello isn’t nosy, noisy and all over the place. She’s the private kind of woman.
You wouldn’t see her put her business out there unless the media does what they do best. She values her privacy cos really, her life is no one’s business. So, she’s free to live the way she wants and cares not about what others thing. What seals the deal for me about Camilla Cabello is how strong willed and dedicated she is. Walking away from fifth harmony was one big breakthrough for her in her music career.
She loved her group, but she felt she didn’t belong there so, she had to make the tough decision and leave. And that’s what strong people do. No matter the emotions you feel, you have to think of the good things and great opportunities out there for you. She’s living, growing and glowing today and every other day to come and I would, anyday, everyday wish to be like her. Just sign me up for it already!

It's actually very nice to know you also respect Ed sheeran. I actually haven't heard him sing in a while but then I just love his lifestyle and for sure he knows to sing good songs with substance which is why I think makes him a top tier musician for me. I actually do know camila but then I haven't heard much of her songs. I am not just into American songs that much but then from what you wrote i think she is cool and I loved why you have chosen to be like her. Nice write-up
