I was on a call with someone special to me and the person said something that drew my attention to this week's prompt "Moment We Needed Music The Most".
Hey man, "Why do you love emotional songs and why always on repeat?"

She must have been very close to me to notice this integral part of my life. If I eventually skip a song after hearing it once means that I am not into that music. If I am into a song I play it all day and night on repeat until it fills every empty holes that yearns for the message encrypted in the lyrics. A lot of person's don't vibe the same way but I love the fact that I have the entire room for myself and nobody gets to interrupt my desires.
I have tried to figure out the main reason why it's like that for me and really can't find any, maybe I just love the song or something. I love slow songs that transmit positive feelings through it's lyrics and rhythm. I love songs with deep expressions, stories of love and deep feelings. I love to hear people express their hearts through music. It creates room for me to know other people's experiences and teaches me the right words to say or the right thing to do when such scenes befalls me.
Was there a time I needed music the most?
I need music all the time, I stay around music, I eat around music even sleep with music.You can literally tell that my life is built around music.
I can only need a particular song to suit my mood at a particular period of time. There are certain songs I vibe to them on a normal day but don't feel the same some other days due to certain factors and influences associated with that particular day and time. I can have specific songs to play at a particular moment but don't have a specific time to play music because I play music all the time.
Just like most people, they listen to music to ease pain and make them forget about their sorrows, the same goes with me too just that I can still listen to sad songs even on a normal day, weird but true, as long as my mind resonates with the lyrics of the song I "Play it on repeat".

That is same with me. Any song that I love I can keep playing it for the whole day. Sometimes it makes people around.e get angry and ask me to stop. But that is just what I love doing.
