I can define music, but If I do I am only undermining the sound intellect of the wonderful community.
But this I can tell you, music has a positive influence to the youth. Someone will then ask what of negative, there are no negative impact of music. The positive impact is only subjective to the person listening to the music.
No genre of music is bad, well your definition of bad is going to be dependent on what branch of the morals you sprout from or the environment you were raise.
Music like bomb is not the problem. And it's not the reason for any youth becoming a bad person in the society. Your opinion may contradict mine, it's debateable....
I won't deny we are a product of influence, and little by little a drop of water becomes an ocean. True, but the youth is only influenced if he or she chooses to be.
Music only has a positive impact. Wether you like it or not, what the person listens to is the right thing to that person. And if para-venture the youth becomes corrupt, they chose to be. I have listened to the naughtiest music, and yet I am still sane. Besides Even genres like hip-hop that some consider controversial still provide valuable lesson for many youth out there.
Do you know that there is familiarity to everything. Even to music. Even to those once that people think it's edifying, at a point of familiarity, the music no longer edifies. It just become a music. It also follows the law of diminishing returns.
It's simple, go and become friends with a teenager, become so close that you share thoughts. At a level your advice just becomes mere words. So if you already choose to become bad, then regardless of the choice of music genre you will still become a bad person. So would you then say music caused it.
Music is not the enemy.
I believe there is a difference between a child and a youth. Forget the definition of youth becomes you think you know . Check it again.Bad music to a child will produce a bad child. But to a youth, it should but be just a bad music.
Do you know that African adage that goes " a dried stick can't be bend it only breaks". At the point of maturity to a complete developmental level called youth, a person is expected to be a dry stick.
Well my whole opinion can just be fraud and untrue. But it is still mine. I believe with the whole of my heart that music has only a positive effect on you. Remember the positive effect can be whatsoever the youth consider positive.
Ask Nicky if she thinks Anaconda was negative, it was all about self love and it sends a strong message to the feminine community, I believe she would say. Is she wrong?, No she isn't. It's positive to her. Do you now understand?
Beside we can even dive into many positive impact of music to many youths. Help depression, calm nerves, make some more efficient, etc.
So what then do you think is the negative impact if you have any?.

Example is bad role model. There is still many more.
