My musical experience.

Greetings!

Every year comes with it own system and terrain and ones personal resolutions, so, one thing that is certain is that, ones resolution of today become ones experience tomorrow. What do I mean by this, all those things I made has my resolutions in the past year are now my experiences. In the last year, I made series of RESOLUTIONS, but out of these my RESOLUTIONS, one thing that I was able to actualize and work towards was my musical journey.

Year 2024 was a very good year for me in all aspect. Though it comes with it ups and downs but I was able to maneuver my way through and actualize almost all I have made as my RESOLUTIONS, but one of those my actualized resolutions comes in the form of my musical and in the process of actualising this my resolution, I was able to garnered and gathered series of experiences which I will like to share with all.

Last year could be said to be my musical journey foundational year with a lot of experiences garnered and gathered. Like I said earlier, one of my major resolutions was to improve and upgrade on my musical experiences of the year before which I did excellently well. For instance, in the year 2024, I went on series of musical training which included voice training and instrumental training.

Before the year 2024, I could i was not a good singer with cracks in my voice, not only that, most of the time, while singing, i do go off key which to me was a thing of shame and it comes with embarrassment and as a music enthusiast, I could not go on bring shame to myself whenever I'm asked to lead worship or praise in the church as a member of the choir in the church. So, as a result, I decided to go on a musical training both off and online and this really helped to boost my rank in the church choir and not only that, on other field where I was opportuned to sing or lead a song. Seriously this really help and saved me from embarrassment as before then, I was being sidelined to lead the praise in my church. But thank God, I'm on another pedestal of my musical radar. Though, not a palatable experience but full of fun and food experience.

Another experience of mine was that I was able to learn some of the instrument I was not opportuned to play or handle before now. I would have loved to be a professional instrumentalist, but I couldn't maybe because of my busy schedule at work. But last year, I created time to learn these instruments in a musical school. This musical training though was not easy, but I was able to shift my grounds to learning it and learning it well. So, now, I can now boast of playing such instruments like guitar, trumpet and violin, just late last year, I started learning the keys on the keyboard or piano and I'm trusting God that by the first quarter of this year 2025, I should be done with the learning. Though I can play the keyboard but not there yet. Thanks to my instructor or trainer who has really stood by me. He will always encourage me and make me believe in myself that I can do it. In my musical school, we are of more practical than theory and this has really been of help to me and I have really improved compared to the year before.

My 2024 musical experience will not be complete without talking about the musical concert and seminars I personally attended, these two events really helped me in my musical journey. At the seminar and the concerts, I got to meet new people most of whom are professionals. We related very well and let me say here that they really contributed to my musical experiences in the year 2024, these people also shared their past experiences with me and not only that, they also share their musical journey with me from where they were coming from, where they are at present and their musical goals for the years to come. These people introduced me to various books on musical, both theory and practical, all the training I went through was as a result of their recommendations. Seriously, they really played their parts and roles in my year 2024 experience. Thank God I met with them.

So, my musical experience for the year 2024 was a superb one, though there were challenges in the journey, but I was able to weather the storm. Now the rest is history as I was able to record more success than failure, and the gains are even more than the pians.
