Good day belove, it is a privilege to be here again I pray that the new month will find us good or atleast it will shape our life for good.
This week theme is just blowing with a mighty wind and spirit of togetherness on music so I am here to also present my own side of view as it is Tag: the influence of music to films and television according to my little does music matters in a film and television? It is a question but before I proceed I will love to define what music is all about.
Music is a combination of sounds join together to give a sweet sound to the listener. So when gbagi start playing there sound with keyboard, bass guitar and band I should know this is gbagi because of the sound if it is a secular music through the sound u should be able to know.
With this few things I mention you can picture what am trying to say in a real sense. The truth is we have to ask our selves does music really matters in films likewise the movies we watch? In my opinion I will love to say yes.
Music is something that no one can express it but we only feel it and react to it either in the positive way or negative way as we early discuss on the theme the effect of secular music so we here were able to bring in our view in different ways.
In simpler sentence music is life that is the thing when we brush into bible the bible recorded the story of Saul who happen to be a king but decided to turn away from and God and God decided to punished him with evil spirit.
What happen is when the evil spirit start on Saul the only thing that calm him is the musical sound from David once if David start bringing out the sound it calms the evil spirit.
Is through music that David was able to leave the bush to the king house to stay there for sometimes because of the king condition so music has influence in all aspect not just film and television but my focus today will be on the the television.
I will love to share with us some key influence of music in television and films.
First we have music serves as musical background in films, you can believe that my tittle is working in line with the theme by which music serve the films and television as the background as music is going on the acting in motion is going on too.
Second we have music different between the bad part and a good part for instance if we they show the part of cultists try to manifest there evil act in the movie the musical background change
And if it is good part the musical background change too so by such doing the person watching will quickly notice that this part is good and this part is not good even if the person is blind he will be able to detect it.
My grandfather was a blind man before his demise if we are inside the parlour watching television like him he understood the movies through the sound when he hears a terrible sound he will ask this is bad part right we will say yes.
Atleast through the sound he was able to identify and feel that he is watching television and know what is is happening and my grandfather is very intelligent even as he is not seeing but once he hears the wordings he pick up interest on the television.
Third is a sound of victory, before if you remember when they are playing Nigeria match during the world cup or African cup at that time my grandfather have not yet buy television is radio we are using.
If you remember that time they use to put some sound in precious FM so we will just be listening without knowing who is holding the ball or who scores the ball our concern is to hear a goal from Okocha and we start jumping even without watching.
But how do we notice that Nigeria win or are winning is through the music the play or the shouting and the commentator words like the day Nigeria won Brazil the music there is Okocha win Brazil oooo Okocha win Brazil ooo Okocha.
Through that music only even if you are not watching it life you will know that Nigeria win the game.
So everything in the world now for it to move smoothly is through the music because it serves as many things for ones understanding.
The last thing is music differentiate tribes most especially if you are listening to audio on your television if it is mada you will know if it is eggon you will know if it is Gbagi you will know so music has great effect on television l.
So if you ask me of the influence of music in television or films I will say yes music has a great influence on television and music because it has better way to educate people even if they are not in the mood to dance but by the sounds it makes one to be knoding his head.
I will love to stop at this point but all I have to say music is everything in life it gives peace and so on.
