In today's #TTT, I went to check the Nigeria TurnTable chart, as I have been doing every week. I saw that the songs in the top three are the same ones I have written about. They just keep swapping positions, competing for the number one spot. Instead of writing about the same songs again, I decided to switch things up by picking some of the trending songs. Here they are:
Laho by Shallipopi
I love this song! It proves that one does not need a fast beat to be able to dance. This song is cool and danceable.
Shallipopi has made his name well-known in the music industry with the type of music he creates, which is specifically tailored for the youth.
This song was released a few weeks ago, and the video is just too good.
Odeshi by Timaya, Flavour, and Yung Alpha
This song has been trending for a while now, and it is worth all the hype because it is a great song. Timaya brought the Igbo highlife vibe into it, and Flavour, who is known for his highlife style, embraced the idea wholeheartedly, delivering a smooth verse. Yung Alpha also smashed his verse. The video is very entertaining too.
Small Money by Nasboi
This song is not exactly new. It was released many months ago but has yet to reach one year at the time of writing this. It became a huge trend upon release due to the radical publicity efforts of the artist, Nasboi. I love the song because it perfectly captures how one would feel and react when they have money.
Thanks!
Cool afro-beat!
Please vote for the new Ecency Proposal.
