So today we will be talking about the influence of music on films and television, which to me is indeed a very interesting and exciting topic and am sure it is to everyone because almost all of us watch movies and we know what actually happen when musical sounds are added to it.
Music indeed has been an aged long sound that is been used for encouragement, entertainment and which also has the ability to convey information to an individual speedily, sometimes the words in the music play an important role in our emotions and feelings.
Sometimes, or somehow some people when the are faced with difficulties in their life what the normally use to address some of those issues is that the played songs on their digital Ware's to help reduce the pain of that situation, I in particular do that.
So in the movies industry one of the things that I think it fosters or fuel people learning abilities is the kind of sounds or music the use in that video, the echoes of the sounds from the songs helps a individual to learn and pick up fast with the film.
I was just imagining and wondering how boring a movie or film would be without the use of sounds or music, no matter how interesting the movie is, without sounds I think it's a way of saying,it a waste of effort on producing such video without sound, because the sounds are what will communicate the video to your viewers.
So how important a movie can be, it is build up on the strength of the kind of sounds or music used in a movie or video, it is so important to the extent that people easily get distracted when there are no sounds.
SOME OF THE IMPORTANCE OF MUSIC ON FILMS
- Emotional Resonance In the context of music and film, emotional resonance occurs when the audience forms a deep emotional connection with the story, characters, or music. This resonance can lead to a more immersive and impactful experience, as the audience becomes invested in the emotional journey of the characters,like in most cases of the Nigerian movies we watched when a person is struggling it create empathy amongst the viewers.
*Narrative character it refers to the personality, traits, and characteristics of a story itself, rather than the characters within the story. It encompasses the unique tone, style, and voice that shape the narrative and engage the audience, in most cases we have the protagonists, antagonist,the narrator and the supporting characters.
*Character development is the process by which an author or creator reveals the personality, traits, and characteristics of a character over the course of a story, character with depth and complexity envoke emotions and create lasting connection with the audience.
*Cultural and historical context refers to the social, political, economic, and cultural environment in which a story, event, or phenomenon takes place. This context influences the characters, plot, themes, and overall meaning of the story, and this helps to educate the readers or viewers to understand more on what culture is behind the scenes.
In conclusions, music helps one to understand a movie fast, and also interpretation of some certain events that are about to occur or happens.
