Music is the combination of vocal, tone , beats, to form a harmonious, melodious sound that is pleasant to the ears and calms the heart of the listener.
Let me begins by saying without music in this our generation especially the 21first century , i wonder how the world will be .
My musical life -jouney begins when i graduated from highschool. The Church where my entired family workship were lacking keyboardists to play .
So one day i was motivated to learn this particular instrument keyboard,
My motivation up when my choir director invited a keyboardist to play for and i move to learn this instrument.
After the church sevice , i went and met this invited guest and lay my request before i asking him to teach me hoe to play keyboard and he actually accepted to teach me how to play keyboard.
So our lessons begins right way..
The challenges i had while learning keyboard wasn't that i found it very difficult to understand the balck and white keys though they all look alike but i discovered that they have different sound all together.
My teacher could tell me that we have 12 keys on keyboard, which are the key C, C#, D, D# E,F,F# G,G#A,A#B.
With this twelve key form what we call octave and that most keyboard especially the YAHAMA BRAND do comprise of the five octave.
Moving away from that we begins to learn how to play sofar , ha.. another challenge and hard part for me to learn and adapt.
To learn the sofa notation was a serious challenge for me reason was because, its took me weeks , month and in fact years before i could understood their different .
My teacher told me we have seven sofa which doh reh meh fah soh fah lah tih and doh and in this sofar form the note combination.
Learning of all this was very difficult far as my musical life is concerned but because i wasa passionate about this particular instrument i have to give my all and ensured i learnt it and know how to play it well .
I always see my self playing for Churches and event all around.
Though my first time of playing in my church , i played totally nonsense but with nonses and all the insult from those that wanna pull me i never give up .
I keep on practicing day and night just to bring out the best in me.
Giving up wasn't my thing at all cos i know what i wanted and what i was driving to become as music Minister on keyboard.
I face a lot of insult, a lot downcast from different people .
I almost give shall but with my persistent i brought out the best in me.
Now i am a guru in keyboard,
No event i can't play for or i can't delivered welll .
I play for both church vigil and i can tell you that , i tell you that I can't remember how many times have been invited to play keyboard.
Which song do you want me to play and I can't play for even if is not my language but i can interpret it well for you and play all the chord/ the sofa.
I love keyboard and i make it my best instrument.
