Hello, hivers!!!
It has been a while since my last post again. I've been busy at some things (as usual), nothing new about this but I'm trying my best not to stray away from writing if I can make time for it, as much as possible. I don't like my hobbies to totally disappear, pure work and studies are stressful without something to relax after exhausting my soul everyday.

However, this blog isn't about that but a typical shift at work with a little twist. We got another party after a month have passed right when New Year came in.
Clients are on tour
As Filipinos, we are known for being hospitable when we have visitors and that's what happened here, they organized a party to welcome the foreign clients. Even so, life goes on with or without this party at this night. We stil have to work, no exceptions and no considerations. Work is work.
All we have done to enjoy this time a little bit before signing in to a hell shift was to get there early and explore the gimmicks they have facilitated.
At the corner, they installed a Glam Bot for everyone. My colleagues are trying the fun and took the challenge. As for me, I choose to look after their belongings on the bench and waited for them to come back from the shoot.
I'm too introverted for that and I'm actually having some triggers of social anxiety everytime I'm faced with cameras, also knowing that there's a lot of people watching around is so discomforting. My anti-social self can't take that. Moreover, I'm also too self-conscious. I'm afraid that I would get a bad shot since I'm that photogenic.
They also have a coffee corner here, of course, since the start of the shift here is often at night. Employees need to be awake the entire night, or else, we would get sanctioned if we would be caught sleeping on our desks and computers. As much as I would love to have coffee but I still have class in the morning. I'm minimizing caffeine intake, so that I could sleep right away in free time after shift. I have to prioritize rest now more than anything else because I'm too lazy to set an appointment with another Doctor again. I would prefer to sleep all day than to wait in queue outside the hospital.
Even though I don't like to socialize that much in these kind of events, there's fee things that I still love with it. Why not? I'm enjoying the free meals, free desserts and drinks! I'm not into people but I love foods. 😆
Aside from that, they're giving out souvenirs like free t-shirts, keychains, badges and healthcare. Who else wouldn't love the free things, right?
I'm too hesitant actually to work here at first because all of the feedbacks that I have received from their resigned employees are all negative. It was a suicide application when I finally made up my mind. I was never prepared for the process and interview but I still walked in with my resume and submit that on the HR office. Well, it paid off, I'm already here. I'm just chilling at work for over 3 months now with no pressure and toxicity from the management. Maybe they changed, but at least that's good.
As for me, I don't care about any of the feedbacks as long as I'm getting paid correctly and I'm not targeted with those negativity. I'll just work as usual. And speaking of target, my team got the target score. At this program, they held an awarding for outstanding teams ad individuals. And well, I'm one of them and my superviser got the awarded, too.
Well, that's worth celebrating for sure and this party just got the perfect timing because when midnight strikes, it was my birthday! 🎉🎂 Oh well, that would be congratulations and happy birthday to me. 🥳
