ADJUSTING TO WORK LIFE.

in WorkLife7 days ago (edited)

I really feel anxious right now. Given the key to all the offices in my workplace with an instruction from my superior to be the first to arrive school on time as his personal and school secretary and also, a classroom teacher.

The thought of sleeping on time, waking from bed earlier than my usual time, performing all my house chores a night before the day breaks, staying alert to prepare my breakfast and trying so hard to keep an eye open so that the food does not get burnt, while the other eye feels so drowsy and wants a temporary close.

The main reason, I never wanted to work for anybody, just want to be self employed so that I can have the freedom to do the things I want, and at the time I so desire.

But, NOW, 10 hours of night sleep is reduced to 5 hours of night rest.

In other to shape my behavior, he gave me the responsibility, so that I would be punctual to things, irrespective of where I find myself.

This is a quality (punctuality) I am trying to imbibe at my work place.

Thank you for reading.
